Not that I've seen... He's come close to running out a few other times, but there's an awful lot of ammo laying around in this game.

Try this one: http://augmentedtrader.wordpress.com/2012/05/13/10-things-raid/ It's a bit older, but still good reading. Bear in mind that regular HDD speeds are increasing significantly, (upwards of 150MB/s is getting to be pretty average for 2TB drives nowadays) and all prices are going down, while storage space is going up. Well, as an option you could do a RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, or RAID50/60... (I can explain the different RAIDs if you need it) I wouldn't recommend a RAID15/16 though... (A bit more drives required than you probly want to deal with) RAID5 gives good performance boosting, (if you use enough drives, and a decent controller) and maintains data recovery, but it requires a minimum of at least 3 disks. RAID6 requires 4 drives, but has better error recovery capabilities. (it can lose ANY 2 drives, and not lose ANY data) http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/176962-32-raid-gaming [read the third reply to this question, except that RAID0 and RAID5/6 are theoretically the same speed if running with the minimum number of drives required] RAID10 might be the best for you, since it has both redundancy, and speed, but I personally would do a RAID5/6 if I had the drives/hardware for it. (all about the same price) And if you could manage it, a RAID1 on a pair of SSDs will usually do quite well for not a lot of price.

I'm betting you will in the next month or so...

Only $1061 to go for a guarantee at finishing Half-life...

Wow... I can't believe this hadn't been posted in in 2 years... Time flies... Still haven't played TA, and don't plan on it anytime soon...

Nice... I've fried quite a few computers, but never managed to get the RAM to fry...

An LG840G... It's a crappy touchscreen phone for use with Tracfone. I really want to switch to a decent Android on the Virgin Mobile network, but I'd need a job to do that. Do you think Ross's donations will break the $20,000 mark?

What do you like about the user above you?

Has the second most interesting avatar on the forum. -
9.99/10 I saw the rack.

The more subs, the merrier. I don't use them personally, but that's just because I don't need them.

I've added over 10,000 different songs to my list since I posted that I had a 20,000 list... There's no way I'm ever going to get around to finding all the song names, and putting them in a text list, much less try and post them here.

E-cigs actually put out more nicotine in the same number of puffs... My dad usually does about 4-6 puffs on his e-cig, and says it gives the same effect as a whole cig.

We need a new subject... How about this one: The explosive potential in the batteries of a laptop... Mine can be made to be the equivalent of a standard hand grenade... What about you? Any Li-ion batteries around you?
-
I could theoretically kill myself doing what I just did... I shorted out my tablet's battery for a manual hard reset... Not a smart thing to do, but it's the only thing that can force reset an Android device that won't completely shut down, doesn't run out of battery in several days, and doesn't have a removable battery. (the battery in that tablet has the potential equivalent explosive force of about half of what a hand grenade has)

Just about to head to the bathroom, and continue wondering why the downloaded from youtube copies of all the CP vids are better quality...

Screencapture for GoldSrc?

You might want to look into torrenting PowerDirector 11... It's all together a better product. (if you have the money to do it, purchase it instead, it's worth it) -
Nope. Nothing proof-wise about HL3, other than a lack of proof.

Renegade Ops... You can even play as Gordon Freeman in the buggy... Fun game, needs a little work on the controls though.
-
And how many hackers do you think will be playing it in the very near future? Aimbots are easy...

Then technically you should be fine with your -236 or so returning. Not really... I want that -500... I'd have the highest rep of anyone on the forums then. (Ross was only at +450 IIRC)

Wow... Up to $10700! As for the RAID bit, here are some references... http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-raid-benchmark,3485-13.html http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/257512-32-raid0-benchmarks-showing-random-performance http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/394 https://tweakers.net/reviews/515/raid-0-hype-or-blessing.html http://www.overclock.net/t/674524/intel-ssd-vs-wd-velociraptor-raid-0-benchmarks There are an awful lot of RAID0 discussions and benchmarks, so this is just a random selection of ones that looked helpful.
