Try goose instead of turkey - you'll never go back Regards

I just gave an example of a real life situation which models the imaginary scenario you proposed... Also - i can give you another IRL example, about the emotional pain this time. Psychopaths - they lack empathy, which makes them cruel and mean bastards. These are just the illustrations for how a deficiency in such feelings as pain would manifest itself in the real world. Regards

Pain is a warning and a deterrent. Warning that something went wrong and deterrent from repeating the thing that caused it in the first place. A human without pain is like an airliner where no alarms go off if something is wrong with the engines or avionics. The thing will crash. Also - no emotional pain = no conscience. There is a disorder - I think a genetic one - when people don't feel pain. They have to be kept closely monitored and trained to watch themselves as they can accidentally suffer a major trauma without realising it. It's called "congenital analgesia" or CIP and is considered very dangerous to the person affected. So - no. Removing pain completely is not a good idea. Reagrds

I don't accept death sentence as a concept. I'm okay with people being killed in the heat of the monent during the arrest, for example, but not deliberately after the fact. I do not think anyone in the governing establishement has the moral right to make a life and death decision. They are simply unworthy... But that is a digression on my part, sorry. Well, I am also categorically against vigilantism. History shows that assassinations only cause more people to be killed and even worse replacements take over the seat of power. Hitler or Stalin - they both are just cogs in the machine. The society as a whole was embracing them or at least tolerating them and until that society hasn't changed its mind - nothing can really be done about it at the level of individuals. So - vigilantes - they are simply terrorists, misguided and doomed to failure, always strengthening the regime they are supposedly acting against, causing more repressions and oppression. It was true in the Ancient Rome and in the Soviet Union and it is equally true in the modern UK or US. Regards

Ahhh... and at last I've finished working with another one of Jeb's ideas I hope you might find it enjoyable. I certainly liked working on it! All the credit for the main melody and rhythm goes to Jeb, of course. Regards

Oh RIP, Greg... Geez, they are all going now, mm? Maybe they know something we don't... Carl must be feeling really weird though... He is the only one from ELP left and one can't stop thinking that it might be only because his stand in for the letter P has already took the hit for him... Oh, well... He is a tough cookie, he will just shrug it off... Regards

Awww... this is beyond just beautiful... Regards

LOL Regards

The trouble is - then you come down with a hangover and everything feels 3 times as awful. Don't drink when you feel really bad. Drink to celebrate but not to drown your sorrows, man... Regards
-
@Jeb - ignore the "friends" who are not close to you, but tell those who are important to you, privately, that you have a different view on it. They must know that at least they have to keep their bigotry in check in your presence. I'm sure they will do it. Maybe even knowing that you have another opinion will lead them to questioning their own entranched views... Regards
-
That is a familiar feeling, Jeb... Still - congratulations, my dear! Regards

Well, there leaves another one... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37946654 RIP, Leonard Cohen... S34cVkL6zCE "An old woman gave us shelter Kept us hidden in the garret Then the soldiers came She died without a whisper" Regards

Oh, yes! Couldn't agree more with this ^ But, Helio... that trust issue is going to poison any relationship... As long as you retain that kind of paranoia - there is a very little chance you will be able to hold a relationship. You can and should be cautious in the beginning, of course, but you must always give your counterpart the benefit of the doubt. Presumption of honesty and not the other way round. Regards
-
Ah, the former - yes. The latter - nope. Not even crossed my mind... About Jeb, though - not so much a compliment but a statement of fact. Regards
-
Maybe so, but - nothing ventured, nothing gained. Anyway - getting rejected is not something Jeb needs to worry about. I mean there isn't any danger of that for a woman like her... Regards

Hehe, you are just bursting with joy. With you like that I don't care if you double or tripple-post - the more the better, hehe <3 But, you know - there is no set "affection scale" or "course" that you have to go through in a particular order. There either is love or not and if there is - you can have any and all of it in any order you like Awww... and what a nice drawing, as usual. I love your characters so much and that whole world you're creating. Ah but you know that, hehe But ahhh... geez, it's like the sunshine again on this forum - don't stop, my dear. Regards

Hmm, yes, I agree - creativity and multiple meanings... And I think most really good artists actually welcome it when people interpret their work in their own personal ways and not necessarily as it "was intented". Ah, a warning - 14 minutes of music qTrMLyFRrkU One of their earliest works and still one of their best IMHO... Regards

Mmm... so nice you've decided to finish that dragon work I liked the first sketch back when you started and I really like the end result! Also how your dragon looks so female to me and his one is equally undoubtely male Your drawing styles are different here but mix so well together in this drawing. Mmmm... so nice! Geez, that hapless guy... he looks so astonished and terrified, hehe... No doubt frantically questioning his luck for trying to steel something in front of the Lady Law, who is also a war veteran, geez I love the dynamic of the poses and expressions - both in the dragons and the thief pictures. And, yeah... the colour wheel is just a thing of pure beauty. The colours and the patterns and even the textures - I like it all. But - also the way you've done the shading and shadows... This joins my favourite abstract pieces - together with those fractals you've done a while ago Regards

Well, with the US politicos openly talking about attacking Russian forces in Syria - anything may happen in the short term. Regards -
PDA? Pathological Demand Avoidance? Ah, no, sorry - Personal Digital Assistant, silly me... Regards P.S. Geez, now I got it... Not the term I've used much or ever. Okay, sorry... we were not kissing or anything, though, hmm...

That's really fortunate as I really enjoy the company of INFJ ISFJs can be nice too... I don't seem to like ESTPs, ESTJs and ESFPs - but difficult to say for sure as people don't usually put their four-letter things on their business cards Regards
