  1. Oh my God I love Brandon so much. Twenty years ago when UT came out I was so addicted to its soundtrack that I actually soldered a special cable with 3,5 mm jacks on both sides, connected the audio output of my PC to a tape recorder with it, started recording, then launched UT and started a practice match on each of the maps that had my favourite tracks. And then put this cassette into my cheap Chinese tape player and listened to it everywhere. Because how else are you going to rip music from a game when you are a stupid 3rd grader and the Internet is not yet even a thing. Since then I've learned pretty much every sample of every track by heart, but they stubbornly refuse to get old. Even now Brandon's music is among the most played tracks on my smartphone.
  2. As someone who had exactly the same thoughts and ended up buying a dishwasher (rather advanced and pricey one I must add), I'd advise against it. You expect some magic machine which will make your kitchenware clean, but all you get is a shower which pours hot water on your dishes. There are no brushes or any mechanical means to clean the surface of the plates. And the detergent you are supposed to use is so caustic that it is downright toxic (it even says as much on the label), because it's the only way to corrode away the food remains (again, no mechanical means). And the water is recycled, meaning that it never rinses your plates with running water, even in the final phase. Even after the program finishes, you sometimes can still see some foam left on the innards of the machine, meaning that there's definitely some of that toxic crap left on your plates. Oh, and also you still have to do some manual "preliminary" dishwashing, because otherwise (for the aforementioned reasons) the remaining pieces of food will turn the (penny-pinching) dose of water into greasy soup that your dishes will float in. (And remember: no rinsing with running water). All in all, the only use I found for a dishwasher is to occasionally wash huge amounts of porcelain after big parties. In day to day life it's much more efficient (and healthy) to just wash the dishes in the sink.
  3. Спасибо что живой!
  4. Watch out folks, we have an Internet Tough Guy here. I think it’s safe money to bet that the only time you held a weapon in your arms was some videogame (CoD probably?), and the only time you dealt with the Ukrainian military was when you were dodging the draft desperately trying to defer from service there. You all keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means. Of what I wrote, what exactly can be possibly considered propaganda? Calling people covered with swastikas and throwing the Hitler salute “fascists”? That’s not propaganda, that’s just calling a spade a spade. Or maybe in your delirious world everything written in Russian is a lie? Sure, read some Western sources then: A Fascist Hero in Democratic Kiev How Ukraine Is Inventing a 'Jewish-Ukrainian Nationalist' to Whitewash Its Nazi-era Wartime Past Murdered Jews in the 40's – hailed as heroes today A forgotten conflict in Europe's heart Just the first ones found with a quick web search. Why in the world would I do that? Just how my registration date discredits me in any way? Or are you actually trying to imply that I’m some Russian Troll™ who registered on some godforsaken forum which is as far from politics as possible, several months before the Crimean referendum even became a thing, just to quietly sit for five years and comment on Ross’s videos, and then uncover himself with no reason, in order to answer to some random Russophobic post? If so, sweet Jesus… seek help, dude.
  5. I totally agree. Also worth mentioning is that the relationship between Poland and Belarus is way warmer then between Poland and Russia, and about 3% of people living in Belarus are Poles. As for the stereotypical "backwardness" of Belarus, Ross is living such a Spartan lifestyle that I am positive he won't even notice any difference except lower living expenses.
  6. Man I LOVE you! I don't know who you are, but that was some of the finest trolling I've seen (Just to avoid any misunderstanding: I SWEAR that "UkrainianSavior" is NOT my second account. That's some other guy, but he has talent). P.S. There is just one finishing touch to make this pearl perfect: a trident on Bandera's forehead, so that he looks like Dr. Manhattan. There you go:
  7. This is my (obviously biased) point of view. Out of all ex-USSR republics, Belarus did the absolute best with what it had. While in Russia pretty much everything, from science and industry to agricultural sector, was being persistently and purposefully destroyed for about a decade (until Putin became president), Belarus at least managed to save its Soviet legacy. In practical terms, Belarus has (and always had) some of the best foodstuff in the world - no surrogates, no colourants, etc. Pretty much everything food-related made in Belarus is done according to the Soviet standards, which will give any modern "organic" food a run for its money. a humble, but decent industry - for example, one out of two Russians have a Belorussian gas stove ("Brest Gefest"), and almost every apartment is equipped with Belorussian mains plugs and sockets. (Also the iconic tractor). On top of that, the crime rates in Belarus are extremely low (IMHO the fact that it's the only European country practicing capital punishment is part of the reason):
  8. This “c*nt” is such an abhorrent hater of Ukraine, that he Fought against drug trafficking covered by Yanukovych, and continued to fight it even when it became dangerous to his life (and escaped Ukraine only after a blatant assassination attempt) Was stubbornly saying that Crimea is part of Ukraine for years, and got a lot of flak from Crimeans for that Always was a vociferous opponent of separatism, and was explicitly asserting that Ukraine should be unitary (and got a lot of flak from LPR/DPR citizens for that) Donated about $100K to starving Ukrainian elderly pensioners (about 750 pensions, 8000 roubles each), and still continues to do this. Also, he is such a biased liar and manipulator, that he Always shows his public opinion polls with no editing whatsoever, and leaves intact even those opinions that make personally him extremely butthurt, instead of choosing “good” answers and cutting all others away Gives a chance to express one’s opinion to absolutely everyone – from (for which he got a lot of flak from Ukrainians) (for which he got a lot of flak from Russians) Is a honorary member of all European journalistic associations by none other than Oliver Stone, for “struggling to find the truth in journalism and the truth in the Ukrainian situation”. It’s funny that a lot of Russians are extremely jealous that this man – one of the todays very few True Journalists – is Ukrainian, so for years they were asking him to make some videos about Russia. Sharij’s answer always was that he is Ukrainian, and Ukraine is the only country he cares about. Thankfully, about a year ago he reluctantly started to occasionally address Russian problems as well ( is a great video about Crimea, for example. Notice how soaked in pro-Kremlin and pro-Putin propaganda it is).
  9. Jesus Christ, yet another victim of TSN and ICTV with a cooking pot on his head. Oh of course there are no fascists in Ukraine. Seriously, “there is no fascism in Ukraine” is almost a meme. Your most popular and omnipresent war chant is a calque of “Deutschland über alles”, what else do you need?.. Complete and utter bullshit. At the beginning of this civil war, 99% of people in LPR/DPR considered themselves Ukrainians and wanted to be part of Ukraine – just normal and sane Ukraine, not a fascist state where , , and Russian language – despite the fact that it is the mother tongue for 85-90 percent of said regions’ population – . Of course now, after four years of Ukrainian army spraying the residential quarters of Donetsk with Grads and Tochkas, the attitude has changed, but even now pretty much nobody in LPR/DPR is seriously planning or wishing to become part of Russia. The only thing these people want is to be left alone. Why in the world would they move anywhere? It’s their land where they were born and raised, land which was built up by their fathers and grandfathers. It does not cease to amaze me when people continue to say things like this in 2018. Do you even know that your government is so desperate to get some money from somewhere – anywhere – that it is planning to allow selling the Ukrainian soil?.. Oh, measuring others by your own opportunistic yardstick. Classic. I understand that it’s hard to imagine for someone whose “home is where the butt is warm”, but for some people there are more important things than a full stomach. Coming back to Crimea, we would have reunited with Russia even if it was that poor, unemployment-ridden state with “torn to pieces” economy which Western propaganda is desperately trying to portray. The fact that real-life Russia is a prospering, self-sufficient and safe country was just a nice bonus, not the reason. Yeah, everything is fine, nothing to worry about. This is totally not an armed gang who openly declares a genocide against “potato beetles”. People who are fighting for their lives are just some bunch of assholes. …who were seen by no one I mean seriously, “invisible Russian soldiers in Donbass” has long since become a meme. The next logical step for you is to mention the Crucified Boy. Oh my God, just what substance do you have in your cranium?.. Russia was an emasculated impotent ruin back then. Just how horribly brainwashed do you have to be to try and put on Russia some blame for one of the most outrageous examples of NATO aggression?.. Actually that’s a silly question. You’re being told 24/7 that everything bad is caused by Putin personally, of course it’s expected behavior. Go dismantle your gas calorifier, it has aggressive Putin’s gas inside. Oh, what a sweet wishful thinking Keep calm, Russia won’t be tempted to adopt a failed state like Ukraine even if tomorrow every Ukrainian politician starts vowing allegiance towards Russia, and every single Ukrainian citizen starts calling Russians his brethren. “There's also this theory that” Trump is planning to put Ukraine to one last use: sell it to Putin in exchange for something else, so that Russia will (yet again) have to spend its resources to restore it from ruins. Not gonna happen Oh yeah, Ukraine is so thoroughly united that in Kyiv there are almost monthly armed collisions between people because of one or another vexed question (the most recent one was yesterday because of the Victory Day), and western regions are toying with an idea of separation. I think what you wanted to say was, “in Russia where the government effectively stops the periodical attempts of the Foggy Bottom to slap together another flower revolution”. And unlike Ukraine, where , in Russia thorny issues are discussed with displeased populace on so-called Parliament hearings in online mode, which allows people reach mutual understanding with the government in an effective and civilized manner; one of the latest examples was the successful resolve of the problematic issue of Moscow Renovation. You have so much voice that TV channels are closed for as much as not showing enough respect to the “revolution of dignity”, and Ukrainians who dare to express their opinion in a blog are put to jail. (To put it into perspective, in Russia a whole bunch of libertards talk trash about Putin on central TV channels in prime time, and feel all right; and Vkontakte is choke full of Russophobic crap that nobody is punished for). Although I admit that it’s kinda hilarious to watch the feeble attempts to make another Maidan by the very same people who four years ago were saying “if they [the new government] won’t do good, we’ll throw them off just like their predecessors”. Looks like without Victoria Nuland’s cookies thou art an 0 without a figure, surprise-surprise!
  10. Oh, you do not want to go this road because then we'll remember the American natives and you'll look really awkward
  11. Do you realize that you are talking to a 3rd generation Simferopolitan? I swear, it is absolutely hilarious when someone living on the antipodal point of Earth (who probably won't even be able to find Crimea on the map) is telling me how "occupied" and "annexed" I am. You probably should go read about the administrative status of Crimea after the collapse of USSR.
  12. You must be confused. The occupation of Crimea ended in 2014.
  13. I ardently support this. Crimea is a corner of paradise with mild climate, lots of intact forests, lots of beautiful palaces, kind open people, and (after reunion with Russia) rather good infrastructure (you will have trouble finding a crumbling, mold-ridden residence building in Crimea). As a place to live, it is ridiculously undervalued and undersold.
  14. The absolute best analysis of post-Disney Star Wars was done by E;R. These videos are so cleverly done, I highly recommend them even for people who are not interested in Star Wars whatsoever.
  15. This was absolutely amazing. I knew from the very beginning that you'll murderize everyone. Also, seeing that pretentious girl having her ass handed to her made my inner male chauvinist pig happy.
  16. Are you that short boards have more hits? The wiki says that they are the same. Also, some highlights:
  17. Okay, I think I'll just back off and go do something useful with my life.
  18. With all due respect, I completely disagree with you here. 1) A lot of things are essential to all life on earth. Lebensraum, for example. Saying "we must send them water because they deserve it no matter what their education is" is one step away from saying "we must squeeze together a bit and make some room for them, because they deserve a good place to live no matter what their education is". 2) A lot of places have little drinking water, there is nothing special about Africa in this regard. Many arabic countries are basically deserts. And yet they are prospering. Why? Well, to put it bluntly, because people there are educated. They treat what little resources they have wisely and sparingly, instead of blindly exhausting them like there is no tomorrow. But what's more important, they know to not breed like rabbits, ensuring overpopulation, hunger and thirst. The result is an extremely well-sustainable society that was existing in harmony with its harsh arid environment for millennia. 3) What does all this have to do with the Marie Antoinette quote? It was about government's detachment from the needs of its people, about whom it was obliged to care about. We are talking about the needs of an utterly unrelated group of people, towards whom we have absolutely no obligations whatsoever.
  19. Okay, I watched this and I must say the Tom-Ross duo is pretty entertaining. The thing that was really annoying though, was those other two dumb fucks who tried to be funny cracking stupid jokes. It was amusing how Ross on the video was literally wincing when he was hearing some especially obnoxious ones.
  20. Behemot Your statement is correct, logical, and horribly racist (at least by the standards of modern Internet) Thank God that we're not Tumblr/FB and can call things as they are.
  21. This is not Ross's style, more like Krim's. Now this is actually a great idea. Besides, it's not like Freeman didn't do some before without batting an eye.
  22. It's amazing how this episode is simultaneously among the best and the worst episodes of the Game Dungeon. Pretty much every remark made me laugh, from quoting Edward Bulwer-Lytton's «Paul Clifford», to struggling with stupid sliders designed by console-minded developers and thus having no mouse tracking, all the way to lazily implemented birds that just dissolve in thin air. But at the same time, the game itself is just so cringeworthy, that this episode was painful to watch no matter how much of Ross's talent was dumped into it. I can only assume that this game has «overwhelmingly positive» reviews for the same reason why Call of Duty is the most profitable game franchise. Sturgeon's law.
  23. Is there a way to listen to his commentaries without playing the game?
  24. HTML5 isn't crap, Adobe Flash is. I'd say that HTML5 is not even "forced" as hard as it really should be. The sooner we forget about that abomination called Flash Player, the better.
