  1. It can often save a lot of time and nerve tissue to check who you are arguing with.
  2. As you yourself have said on multiple occasions, there is nothing special about the gaming industry – its problems are just a manifestation of universal problems found everywhere in society. Doublethink and double standards have long since become an omnipresent and “normal” thing in journalism, so I don’t understand why you’re surprised to see something like this in gaming journalism (especially considering that it is probably the least professional out of all types of journalism out there).
  3. Here's one of the most horrifying Jack o' lanterns I've ever seen:
  4. Do you realize that it was used in the most correct way possible? I.e., to describe the actual medical condition?
  5. @ThatOneDraffan Here you go. I have no f*cking clue how long it takes for DHT to catch up so prepare to wait. rgd_thecrew.mkv.torrent
  6. Okay, four months have passed and NOW we actually DO have confirmed reinfection cases: https://bnonews.com/index.php/2020/08/covid-19-reinfection-tracker/ It still is in no way a reason to panic though, because: There are over thirty million confirmed infections at the time of this writing, and just a dozen of confirmed reinfections. Statistically this is literally nothing. The reason why these reinfections occurred is that there are three clades of COVID-19 ("Asian", "European" and "American"). The aforementioned dozen of people thought that they are "invincible" after surviving Covid, so they went traveling around the globe and contacted another clade (compared to what they had immunity from). So, unless you are traveling around the globe, your chances to get reinfected are even lower than 1 out of 3,000,000. All these reinfections proceeded in extremely light forms and in some cases were discovered by pure accident, because the reinfected people didn't even know that they are reinfected (and it makes sense, considering that the immunity acquired from the first infection didn't go anywhere). So, you can still rest easy on this front (so far).
  7. I know that microscopic creatures have all kinds of weird mechanical systems (even insects can have freaking gears in their legs). That's why I specifically mentioned "mammals".
  8. No need for that, I have the file. The only thing I need is an announce URL. The torrents you linked have no such URL; does that mean you just used DHT to seed them?
  9. Uh... I'm pretty sure no mammal on Earth has joints that allow things like this: out.mp4
  10. @Ross Scott this was one of (very few) videos I've ever seen that made me literally put it on pause to stop laughing. A couple times I laughed so hard that my diaphragm went into spasm and scared me that I won't be able to breathe. It doesn't matter how long these videos take to make if they will continue to shine decades later. Game: "Just barely good enough". Ross: [Nyet 3 scream]
  11. ...and they managed to achieve the polarly opposite effect, considering how uninterested Sonic is in her P.S. also I really like your screen name
  12. Now THIS is a Ross's fan. Welcome to the club, my autistic brother.
  13. You can often find interesting timestamps in YT comments. E.g. here is one a bit more risquée: 3:21:30
  14. Some highlights: 38:00 “I like the idea of living” 40:00 giant list of music bands 53:00 “Now I have a closet” 2:58:30 When Linux people say that something is a pain in the ass to do in Linux
  15. Ross unlists old chat videos to prevent them from cluttering the channel.
  16. 6/10 the YouTube preview is not psychotic enough, can't recommend
  17. They are literally called “monthly chats with FANS”. If you find them “boring”, then the question is, what are you doing on this website.
  18. If something is happening continuously, it by definition becomes the norm, and thus not worthy of being mentioned. Most people who form your fanbase have been operating on Ross Time for more than a decade.
  19. In a couple years after the CNPP explosion the exclusion zone became a blooming nature reserve overflowing with wildlife. (Note that I’m not trying to play down the aftermath of a nuclear war, I’m just cleaning up the toxic waste that the HBO’s trash fantasy left in people’s heads).
  20. Consider yourself lucky then, because you live in the best time to be alive. If you were born earlier, you wouldn't be able to enjoy the cornucopia of entertainment, pleasures, and comfort that the technological progress brought. If you were born later, you'd be witnessing the miserable collapse of human civilization that right now is merely starting to manifest itself before our eyes.
  21. 04:20 I vehemently support Mode7_BP here, do it Ross. Also, 3:48:29 Freeman would punch you in the face for a pun like this, Ross.
  22. I should say that Space Between (35:06) and Secret Little Haven (2:21:42) are actually rather well crafted psychological games, although definitely not to Ross’s taste. Here are good reviews from another two of my favorite youtubers: Space Between Secret Little Haven Other games that Ross passed despite fan groans: Super Hexagon Glittermitten Grove
  23. Well, this turned out just as fun as I thought. Some highlights: 21:44 NOPE 1:24:30 a $100 game 1:33:34 Grindhouse 1:43:36 > Game with no music > Instruction how to play: “turn on some good music” 2:02:15 “No, not that kind of game” “I like textures” “Effort went into this” is pretty much a death sentence Ross’s brutally honest takes: 56:00 Game: STARDROP tells a genuine heart-felt story about a long lost starship, its crew and one individual in particular. Ross: The ‘heartfelt story’ ratcheted it down. If it wasn’t for that ‘heartfelt story’, this might be a winner. 57:34 Ross: I don’t like your music but I hope you make enough money to not die 1:17:28 Game: Timothy succumbs to the darkness Ross: Timothy looks like he doesn’t care 1:22:22 Ross: This is a game where, you know, people discuss, like, ‘Oh, are games art?’ Well, this one is, but I’m not sure it’s something I want to play > 1:23:14 “All games are art, but some are the equivalent of shit smeared onto a canvas” (c) xlLambylx 1:40:09 Game: It is an autobiographical representation of some of my experiences being mentally ill. Everybody experiences mental illness and trauma differently. This game is representative of some of my experiences, and no one else's Ross: Off-colored people just walking around having coffee 1:41:14 Game: A serial visual novel/mech brawler about four gay disasters beating up neonazis in giant robots made of meat. “Wild, melancholy, funny, and willing to take absolutely none of your shit.” – Wired Ross: Just a bunch of grumpy looking people with their arms fold 2:54:48 Game: Remember me Ross: I’d rather play another one 3:28:16 Game: Come back Ross: Probably won’t 3:52:12 Ross: the Pringles Man drops acid ========================= 11:09 “Take a shot for every game Ross likes and you will be stone cold sober by the end” (c) fuwawafu
  24. There is a disclaimer at the end saying that Ross gave his explicit permission to make this translation.
