  1. Well the thing is Hardcore mode increases bullet damage, so you may die in a few hits, but so will your enemies. & I agree, Ruskie voices don't let you hear the average NPC dialogue needed for the world to feel fleshed out. Also there IS no easy mode.
  2. Chicken & Bacon Parmigiana with mashed potatoes and bore-wurst
  3. I don't watch TV, but I liked Deep Space 9, Primeval, and Space Ghost. I also currently am watching NARCOS and DAREDEVIL, and enjoying the hell out of it.
  4. Well I dunno if this counts, but it's a Self Portrait of me: I think something's off with this though: I don't wear medieval armor in real life, though it exists in my house. Also, I rarely look this angry.
  5. Haw, I was thinking more along the lines of this: 851BqHMCaeM
  6. Cool. I'll be sure to do that then (^_^)
  7. There's Operation Bodycount (which isn't that good), there's Cybermage, there's Decent 1 & 2, there's Powerslave, there's Blake Stone: Planetstrike, there's Outlaws, and then there's Corridoor 7 and Witchhaven (both of which aren't that good but you should try). AND CHEX QUEST BTW Turok isn't a DOS game you normie.

  9. YE! You'll like it. Play on hardcore with no crosshair, hitmarks, and for full authenticity use Russian voices. Finished F.E.A.R. plus both expansions
  10. now I'm a man, a man man man, now I'm a man, M - A - N, man., now I'm a man, man man man man, now I'm man, man, maaaannn
  11. Ah ok, you're interested. I've been interested in 40K since Rouge Trader (which is the classic and the best in my opinion). I was a fan of the tabletop and still am. I first started with Space Hulk, and then advanced to a Blood Angels army to complement the models. I think at the moment it's the Black Library books that I like the most, as they are cheep to get, and a lot of them have REALLY good stories. Which ones (if you've read any) of those stories did you like the most? I liked mainly Gaunt's Ghosts, Eisenhorn, and the Ultramarines omnibus.
  12. My name is Morgan. I come from Ozztralia. I mainly enjoy FPS videogames, Eastern European videogames, the post apockalypse, the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Knights Templar, and a bunch of other stuff that you all probably don't care about, but maybe you do. I haev steam page in case you somehow care about this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ThatSelousGuy/
  13. Probably not, because the story concept isn't as good as it could be.
  14. This looks interesting indeed.
  15. I believe the original writer Dmitry Glukhovsky is involved in the development of the story.
  16. October 29th now. Nothing still. Yeah, I was wrong. Still, better to be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right.
  17. Hey, even though BF2, BF2142, & BF Heroes are gone (again), we DO still have THIS: http://www.realitymod.com/downloads And it's now standalone, no need for BF2 to run.
  18. Yeah you should. It's a game that requires a long sitdown and something to get invested in, rather than selling yourself short with a 30 minute pick-up-and-play that most games do. And if you've played the original, then yeah I can understand why you think it wasn't good. The Redux version is much better.
  19. 2033 is probably the better game in terms of atmosphere, but Last Light has the better story. Each game has two endings, so make sure to get those moral points (http://metrovideogame.wikia.com/wiki/Moral_Points)
  20. Yeah, #Gamergate was the foreshadowing of political backlash against the establishment Left and "Progressive" ideologies in general. They messed with the most A-political people on earth who wanted nothing more than to play games in peace and for them to not be turned into a Hollywood clone. However #Gamergate in general is such a massive can of worms I think it needs it's own topic to set the facts straight. I recommend checking out Sargon of Akkad's videos on the subject, as he's the only person I can legitimately trust regarding the issue.
  21. Probably an open world Starship Troopers videogame. Not in the Film style (except for the bugs) but from the novel style, where they are hulking suits of power Armour, similar to the tank class in Planetside 2. You have a Solar system to explore, jumping back across different planets and different environments from spaceships to deserts to underwater to cityscapes. You have third person/first person combat with a variety of different firearms and laser weapons to choose from, with each suits of armour ranging from Scout to Soldier, Sniper, Commander, and Marauder offering special weapons and abilities. In VR, each arm could be controllable to aim in two places at the same time, although I donno how it would effect the movement. You don't just have to fight bugs too: you could face insurgents, terrorists, traitorous marines, even zombies infected with an alien parasite. It could also include space combat, similar to the style from Dead Space 2 & 3, but expanded upon and with fully fleshed out ship interiors for boarding actions. Multiplayer support could be for Deathmatch, Swarm survival, Objective based Domination, even Space combat. I've seen FPS games like Infinite Warfare and Titanfall get closer to this style of game, but the over saturation of this genre means that anything like this wouldn't release at time of writing.
  22. Late to the topic, but I think ThreadbareInc is deserving of a solid mention, ESPECIALLY for his amazing "Lecture" series on Deux Ex, where he goes into even more depth on the topics than Ross did in his original video. Check it out: 47ITwTJXpOc
  23. All of Metro Redux, including expansion packs and over 10+ hours in developer pack
