Ah, I see. Well, try E-Mailing him. He's a little slow to reply (I heard he has something called a... life? I don't know, it's a foreign concept to me) but he could answer your inquiries about the world and of life, in and of itself.

I say bring on the zombie apocalypse! I'd rather live in a Half-Life world than in a resourceless world. I mean headcrabs taste better than the soon-to-be-running-out supply of food due to the major resource drops predicted in the future. If anyone doesn't mind headcrabs and antlions, join me... or not. Whatever you want. That's it. I'm going back to sleep. Anyone who knows how to get rid of sleep deprivision deserves more Freeman. And some crowbar to the head. Crab.

Hey Ross, just a quick question. I am not asking for anything I am just wondering, are you doing a Black Mesa source version Freemans mind. I would not blame you if you didn't so no pressure. (Black mesa source is a remake of half life.)

@ severinious: He said that after Freeman blacks out, he may switch to Black Mesa (From the FAQ's).

And at the person above the person above me: Yeaaaah.... I think a Half Life world is a little better. A little. To be completely honest, as long as the three people I actually give a shit about are alive, I'm good. Also, I don't want to be around any Xenians. And none of the torturing stuff. And no memory loss. And no constant moving.

You know, I'm thinking that it may be a better idea not to live in a Half Life world.

I think that guy that was talking about the supply and demand stuff is right. When oil gets more abundant, the higher the costs are (And my GOD they will get higher!) and the higher the costs are the more people do not want it. They'll look for more Hydroelectric cars, and more people will buy them instead.

I'm good with the world we live in. As long as you and the people you care about are alive and well, then just go with the flow. In the seventies they were talking about the oil running out "soon". We obviously still have some left (as expensive as it might be).

By the time it runs out, people will have adapted, and hopefully most will just continue with the flow of life.

Now bow down, bitches, 'cause I'm the second Bhudda!

Yeah, great logic. It'll be expensive so people will not want it? Hahahahahaaaaaaaa... cough, cough! You see, when people can't afford something they either complain or just take it. And what does it mean for the ridicilously high oil price? Riots. While the "oil crisis" may not happen, the clusterfuck WILL happen if the oil crisis will happen.

Oops! It's supposed to be "something important(food, fuel)" not just "something". Little clarification on what I meant.

God, I'm so horrible person for, hah, triple posting. But I have one more thing to say:

Why are you focusing on.. cars? What the hell, man? Don't you know that you won't even be able to afford a goddamn bread because the guy that drives it to the shop won't be able to.. drive it? The same goes for people transporting ingredients to make that bread in bakery. And on and on and on and on.. yes, it's unrealistically terrible vision.

I'm not familiar with Half-Life Source console commands but in Half-Life 2 to change the damage a weapon like the SMG. You would type sk_plr_dmg_smg1 "number here". I'm not sure but it could be something similar.

Maybe Ross should put it in the FAQ...

@ Mick: Ah, I did not see the video.

Well, I can see where Ross is coming from when he talks about us reverting to the way the Amish lived. We could even be like one of those countries that uses bikes to get around (possibly solving the obesity problem?) to places relatively close to wherever we live. I would also imagine that you and others would depend on possible neighbors for agricultural goods.

Or we could use batteries for transportation. Solar batteries. You let them sit in a sun or a ray of light to charge. When you run out of the energy you go to charging stations (which I believe California already has some of).

Also, the reason I'm focusing on cars is because of exactly what you said. If the prices for food go up because the man (or woman) who gets it to the store or whatever can't drive it, then he supposedly gets it there by car, or some other gas-guzzling form of transportation.

Well, a Half Life universe would be better, if only because I could test my new golf club on a headcrab. As long as I get to kill things. I'll raid a few gun stores, shoot some stuff, that'd be fun. Even if I die, I can die dignified instead of starving to death or something. But I think people are really overreacting to the oil thing. And why does anyone care about this anyway? This is a MACHINIMA site, not a site for Ross to post his opinions about the oil crisis and have everyone debate it.

But he DID posted his opinion and debated(a little) with us. And it's HIS site so he can pretty much make it pink and full of porn anytime he wants, ha.

Anonymous at 13:06:31 - bikes are cool, man. ;D Beside that all I really can say is that you should watch this "End Of Suburbia" movie that Ross mentioned. It's pretty good, even if you won't believe it.

CP/FM fan at 14:19:41 - Half-Life universe would be awesome! And we would be in the middle of it now(HL1 was happening in 1999, right?), somewhen like 10 years before the beginning of HL2. And I would be pretty close to City 17(few days by train at most) so maybe I would be part of resitance in City... 16? 18? :3 Or... Civil Protection, bwahaha.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this Freeman decides to pick up a snark or that "bee-gun-arm". It would be pretty hard to find a reason why he would decide to pick up and use those "weapons"

Hey, Freeman's Mind is good for new players in Half-Life. Is a walkthrough, but not boring like the others, is comic and you can have a good time watching this videos.
