you could run a extension cable in to a closet with a power strip and set up your equipment in there but make sure you close the door and have a way to keep your self cool cause it will get hot as hell in there after a while.

Actually, he really has moved to Poland. Look at the blog dates, he announced he'd be moving somewhere way before he announced he was in Poland, which was before the April Fool's joke. I know it doesn't make a difference to anyone else whether it was a joke or not, but it really wasn't.

 

Also Ross, in your post isn't it supposed to be the 30th March rather than the 30th April?

That would be the simplest explanation. The reality is much, much worse*

That "the reality is much, much worse" line by the way is from a movie called "Event Horizon", where the bad guy says ""Hell is only a word. The reality is much, much worse."

 

EDIT: this is weird, I just got an email update that says:

Someone changed something which nerfed the login method. That’s all. Everything should be working again now.

 

But it's not on the main site. Instead, there's a post from Ross, saying the status of the website and forums may be really dodgy for the next week or so.

 

I'm thinking Ross posted first, the Jexius found the problem and fixed it, since everything seems to be working.
