Thanks! But this should be placed in the Russian section.

Which is why I delineated the Barneys. It's easy to just add the numbers together if you decide.

So, I have two packages for things I ordered delivered today. I live in an apartment complex whose office closes at 5:30PM. I get off of work at 5PM. I do not have a car or bike or other means of transportation other than walking. I live approximately 1.5 miles away from work so I walk. Good exercise, right? 1.5 miles up, 1.5 miles back, 5 days a week, that's 15 miles a week I'm walking. Anyway. It takes me an average of 35-40 minutes to traverse the distance. Those two packages that were delivered went to the office. The one that closes at 5:30 PM. So, I hoof it, killing my legs, walking much faster than I would normally go to get there before the place closes. I get there at 5:25PM. They're closed.

If you watch the Pirates of Penzance* backwards, it is about a group of noble men who become pirates, threaten the life of a major-general who proceeds to lie to them about being an orphan, and a man who was engaged to a daughter of the major-general deciding to split up when he leaves the pirate fold, only to return to it a short while later. * I blame Ross for this one

5/10 on some days, 10/10 on others. Today's kind of a 5/10 day, though. -

Streaming Live - Freeman's Mind Episode 45 Subtitles
danielsangeo replied to danielsangeo's topic in English
File uploaded. Streaming is over. Anyone that watched, thanks. -
I have just finished watching the episode and creating subtitles for it. Damn, Ross, are you trying to kill me? The singing and then the speaking really fast? Augh! I have re-uploaded the revised subtitle file (I had a different interpretation of the lyrics and I was guessing at a lot of the new verse but I used Ross's official wording up there for the file). Here's a link. If anyone watched the stream, thanks. Otherwise, enjoy the file!

Waiting impatiently for my self-imposed deadline 12 noon to roll around so that I can watch Episode 45 and create subtitles for it.

Streaming Live - Freeman's Mind Episode 45 Subtitles
danielsangeo replied to danielsangeo's topic in English
Well, I'm awake now and no one voted in my poll. Oh well. I plan on beginning the subtitle creation at 12 Noon, Pacific time. That's 3 PM Eastern time and 7 PM GMT/UTC. You will be able to find the subtitle creation stream at [stream account canceled]. I will also be watching the new episode (yipee!) for the first time at that time so you can see everything I do from start to finish! Hope to see a few of you guys there! The stream is now live! -
So, with Ross's permission and the extremely good news (in my opinion) of the upcoming Freeman's Mind episode, I will be streaming live the creation of the subtitles for it. However, it appears that the video will be released somewhere around 5AM my time (Pacific timezone in the US) on May 18, and I don't plan on being awake at that time. So, just would like to get a quick gauge on what would work best for those potentially going to be watching the stream. Please vote in the poll what time you'd like for me to start the stream. (All times Pacific [GMT/UTC -7])

e_4X-IcBOGc Also, approximately 16.5 hours from the time of that post, I will be streaming the creation of the subtitles for that episode. I will post information soon on how to get to it. EDIT: Well, shoot, that'll be about 5 AM my time (in the Pacific timezone), wouldn't it? I'll be asleep at that time. I'll create a thread over in the Subtitles forum now for further discussions on this.

There are other people that have their full names listed, either both first and last names or sometimes first name and initialed last name, such as "MikeJ", "Ed Glaser", "Leon Thomas" and motherfuckin' "Brad Jones"! It's not what you normally see on that site but there's nothing saying that he has to pick a pseudonym.

Just remember that Doug's opinions are his own and his Nostalgia Critic reviews are purposefully mean-spirited. He brings his own opinions into the character but the character goes overboard. If he thinks an idea is stupid, such as the aliens in "Signs" not being able to get through a wooden door, he creates a two-minute long skit with the aliens complaining about it. I don't agree with the content of all of his reviews; some movies that he dislikes I like a lot. For example, when he did Old vs. New: King Kong (the Fay Wray version versus the Jack Black version), I very much disagreed with the entire video. I still like the newer King Kong better and he didn't ruin it for me. If you liked Twister, then that's great. Doug didn't. And that's great, too.

I just moved into a new apartment and spent way too much money on getting new supplies for my house (I was living with my brother at the time to get back on my feet financially and, in thanks, I let him keep most of the stuff we shared).
