They're both different types of doughnut... OT: Denier, since I agree with it actually. (seriously, 3 birth certs, and several more deemed classified?!?) Crullers or Bismarks? (since people now know what they are)

One very simple reason why most Christian religions will stand with Israel: The Bible says that anyone that doesn't will lose. This alone is enough reason for most people to stand with Israel, even if Israel is acting like an idiot is running things.

There is also the low likelihood that the MP5s are using AP ammo, or moderate likelihood of +P+ ammo, which can defeat most class II-A, and some class II armor if it's more than 2 years old.

Banned for letting your feelings run your life.

You're saying to stop doing what this thread is designed to do, allow people to vent their frustrations? I think it's you that need to rethink your position. Perspective doesn't change the level of stress, and the need to relieve it... If you want to vent about your sleepless nights, be my guest, but don't try to shift your discomfort onto someone else.

Though there are parts of that Berlin Interpretation that I disagree with, (the non-modal and ASCII/Dungeons requirement) I do believe they have the majority of the idea correct when it comes to defining a roguelike. Roguelike is a subgenre of RPG, it is meant to be far more specific than the normal genre listings. (like RPG/FPS/Turn-based Strategy/Third-person Shooter/RTS/etc.) This is really more of a discussion between "roguelike" being a subgenre or a supergenre... It is without a doubt a subgenre, and shouldn't be treated as anything else. Oh, and I agree... Cheese isn't an anvil, and purple is very dense when properly cooled.

When did I ever say "all"? I said most religions, and not all members... Still, even 1% of ~1 billion is staggering when they decide to help out. (and it's a significantly larger number than the US military population)

Don't bring that argument into this thread... Take it back to the sexuality thread. It doesn't really matter if the word has two meanings, pick one definition of what you think it means, and answer it... Or answer for both definitions... Buy the Caribbean islands, and found a city named "The Pirate Bay"... It would house a Google server and data storage facility, and a full dedicated server for TPB. We would have no extradition for piracy crimes, and the laws would be very lax. Freedom would reign, and I would pay for full fiber-to-home internet infrastructure, as well as a dedicated series of thorium reactors for power. Initial housing would be fairly simple, three shipping containers sitting side by side, welded together, adjoining walls removed, wall-mounted high-efficiency AC units installed, sewage installed, and electrical conduit installed. Would also have an airport, and free travel for initial immigration of smart people to the town. Would also purchase old military hardware, like planes and boats. That is all the more I plan on putting in this thread, as the full in-detail description of everything would take more space than I'm allowed in this post. If I actually made it to that point and built the island with very lax laws about anything that didn't violate privacy in the home, or cause personal harm/death, if I made the offer to you for free immigration?

What part of my previous statements about sleep didn't you remember... I go to BED, not SLEEP at 4AM... I don't get to sleep for a MINIMUM of 2 hours after getting to bed. Sleep ≠ Bed

Wait, someone used "non-modal" as an argument for or against something being a roguelike? I want this link. That is the most absurd argument I've ever heard. Oh, and I don't actually consider SM64 to be a platformer, but more of a 3rd-person adventure/puzzle game.

Quit trying to kill the thread. Have a lot of fun finding out about my new body's features. If every time you tried to find some peace & quiet, or some alone time, you ended up getting loads of people swarming you and trying to get you to do something for them?
-
Yes please? No preference, other than to have them. Crullers or Bismarks?
-
Banned because it's your feelings, not mine... I can't control them, only you can.

Computer fans.

My sleep schedule is trying to kill me right now... I don't even get to bed until 4AM anymore, and I have to wake at 10:30 so I can get up at 11:15.

Again... Might switch back to Star Trek Online, or Starpoint Gemini 2 later.

Not tile based, not a tiered dungeon style, you can't reverse course back to the previous level, you can't stay on the same level indefinitely, there are no items that you can't ever mount on one of the ships, there are more, but I'm about to go play games that are more entertaining than listing off features from Rogue that aren't in FTL.
-
Actually, if he had a computer capable of running it, and you had previously installed the game using your account, he could play it even if you were doing other things on your account on another computer. Also, if it's the controls that are at issue, I know of no modern controller that doesn't work with a PC right out of the box.

You really don't like Israel do you? I know of 0 incidents where the USA fought INSTEAD of Israel. Very true, and they have the backing of most christian religions as well, (including the Catholic church's ~1 billion members) which makes it impossible for any cut off to be complete enough to make a dent.

Steam allows family sharing now... They can access if the login to their account on your Steam install and play your games if you set it to share them.

Original. Coca-cola or Mr. Pibb?

You laugh now, but wait until I roll up in a tank threatening you with some unwinnable scenarios if you don't be nice to people. (I would do that too, just to make people go "WTF?") Destroy that stupid sky-circle! Oh, wait... The moon keeps the tides and global weather in-check... Probly host The Pirate Bay off-shore, and threaten the world to give me land, money, and freedom. (a small country specifically for scientific research of the theoretical physics kind, and complete and total freedom) If all forms of electronics disappeared, and you were the only one to remember their existence?

Banned for thinking I would ever spend even 1 nanosecond on your attention.

Artists? (Possibly another image heavy topic)

Yeah, it ain't bad. -
Getting a perfect score on a game the first time I play it, and not cheating. Also doing the same and cheating to break the game.
