Ah, during WWII is an entirely different story... Then it would most likely have been that Japan would've fallen completely under Russian control, and the USA wouldn't've even dropped a nuke there. We also probly would've been in a world of hurt for the Cold War, but it wouldn't've resulted in a different outcome I think.

No... Makes no sense to keep someone in a wrecked plane unless it'd kill them to move them. The Soviets were following the terms set by the Yalta and Postdam conferences, so politically, they were just acting how they should have. (or libel if you do it in print, and someone is a dick and decides to sue) I don't want to sue anyone, and I'd rather teach something about the way language is used, and it's legal consequences. You stated it as a fact, not as an opinion, which is why it became a personal attack. That sucks... Tell your Dad I said he should lighten up on birthdays. Flattery will get you everything.
