Hi there. I'm pretty sure Hollywood makes cheese too, but in a totally different manner. Naw, they just cut the cheese...

What area? Goodyear, Avondale, Tempe, Apache Junction, Mesa, Snotts... Sorry, Scottsdale? haha, right between downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale. Ah, that still one of the better neighborhoods or have the gangs moved in? I used to live around 53rd and Indian School... Moved there a month before all the gangs did. Moved to Colorado about 3 years ago, the gangs were moving that direction back then...

My review will be for Starseige: Tribes 2. Tribes 2 (commonly abbreviated to T2) is a multiplayer online game set in the fictional Earthsiege universe. It is the second game in the Tribes franchise, following Starsiege: Tribes. It was developed by Dynamix and published by the company then known as Sierra Entertainment in March 2001. On November 2, 2008 Vu Games removed the authentication servers required for online play. However, in early 2009 a community solution provided a replacement server, making the game playable once more. ------------------------------------------------------------ Setting: ------------------------------------------------------------ Set in the year 3941, Tribes 2 allows the user to play as a soldier in one of several factions (referred to in the game as tribes), such as the Children of the Phoenix, the Blood Eagle, the Diamond Sword, and the Star Wolf. Players can also choose to play a rebelling human-created soldier/worker race called the BioDerms. None of the factions differ from each other in strengths or weaknesses, but each has a distinctive look and background story. The backstory is not a critical element of the gameplay, and serves primarily as inspiration for the look-and-feel of the game. Tribes 2 is a multiplayer online game, designed for Internet or LAN play with up to 64 players (32 vs 32) or bots per match, although a small single-player tutorial mode is included. The game may be played from both first- and third-person perspectives. Each match takes place on an Earthsiege-themed map. The Tribes 2 engine, an early version of the Torque Game Engine, is capable of both indoor and outdoor maps, with expansive play areas. Player movement about the map may be on foot, using a jet pack, or in various ground and airborne vehicles as pilot, co-pilot, or passenger. Each match is played according to one of a number of possible game modes, which dictate the rules of the match. These modes include capture the flag, deathmatch, rabbit-chase, and others. Players are free to choose their own role, and may deploy various items of weaponry, vehicles, and emplacements. Many of these items can be left unattended to operate automatically, or control may be assumed by players. Each player may also choose from three armor types (which trade off various abilities, e.g. weak but fast, or strong but slow), and a weapon and equipment loadout, which may be reconfigured at any time during a match. The large variety of equipment and deployable items results in many opportunities for creative play and tactics, from pure combat to stealth. Tribes 2 gameplay makes extensive use of jet pack-powered flight, which adds a notable vertical element to combat. As such, playing style varies dramatically from player to player, and from moment to moment, but Tribes 2 gameplay may be generalized as being fast-paced three-dimensional combat over a wide playing area. Player vs player combat is a central element of Tribes 2 gameplay, even in team-based modes. Video of gameplay by extreme pros:

That sounds fun. I have a few spare cats we could catapult at their headquarters. Make sure you make them VERY fat so they make a bigger impact upon contact. I have some I've been feeding scrap metal and rocket fuel to... Might leave a longer lasting impression...

What is Your Favourite Freeman's Mind Quote/Episode/Moment
BTGBullseye replied to Trickiert's topic in Freeman's Mind
Female welders are even lower percentage... Somewhere in the 2% range. I guess I'm screwed when it comes to finding a girl at my job... -
War is more fun than the other two... Can't we just fight/flame each other, and have fun at the same time? You might just learn how to completely reverse rage onto others... (that's when it gets REALLY fun)

We make ours to beat other's. We are rarely the first to make, just the best. I always test the hacks, but I also always play without hacking on my main account/character. I make a temporary alt for the tests, then delete it after, I don't need hacks to be awesome at games. (been playing FPS since I was 3, RTS since the first Command & Conquer, and racing games since I was 2 lol)

Rebuttals to common arguments against peak oil
BTGBullseye replied to Ross Scott's topic in Civilization Problems
I do, we will be forced to either start colonizing other planets/heavenly bodies, or improve our tech to Star Trek levels. -
that would immediately become the most popular board on the site I which case I suggest making the Miscellaneous section that section. Down at the bottom, out of the way, easy to ignore those kind of posts...

Try KOS, it's a free online FPS. Or if you're going to pay for something, get Battlefield: Bad Company 2. (there are fewer cheaters in it than most other multiplayer FPS's, including TF2) I sense someone got pwned multiple times on most FPS (dont get pissed with cheats, just enjoy the ride or leave the server, dont blame the game itself) I'm a mod on a hack site that makes hacks for multiplayer online games... My site's VIPs literally beat all other competitor's hacks in an in-game competition. I have all the hacks, and have used most of them. I'm just saying what are the best games if you're not going into them specifically to hack your way to the top.

So you really do like your -85 rep then... lol
-
Just PM me your system specs, and I'll see if there are any conflicts, or possible driver issues that could be going on. As for being mean but helping, I'm a mod on a myg0t owned site, it's obligatory to be a helpful asshole.
-
Actually, I gave -rep for each of your posts... You had a lot of people start giving you +rep... lol What games in particular, and what background processes are running? Also, what's your system specs?
-
You mean like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within?
-
Wow, you went down to -37 rep... That was fast... lol If you think thats funny, look at it now. Someone is doing this, and I gotta say, its kinda funny. I took it down to -37, but we're making you famous... You'll be the lowest rated on the forums, but #1 in our hearts. (I'm exaggerating of course, that spot is reserved for Gene Roddenberry, and the second spot is for Ross Scott)
-
No, it's basic common sense to hate him. (sense that people can't ignore, unlike the "edit your post" sense, or "don't walk across the street without looking first" sense) Listening to the entire Tribes 2 Soundtrack right now.
-
Wow, you went down to -37 rep... That was fast... lol Are you sure? I really want to see if getting to a certain - rep rating can get me something special, like an IP ban... That was a joke, why aren't you laughing. LAUGH I SAID!!!

It's going to be the latter of those choices... The Mayans either realized they didn't need to keep lengthening their calendar, or they just figured they wouldn't need it by the end of 2012. Or they had a sense of humor, and knew some idiots would think the end meant the end of the world...

I forgot one of my all time favorites, used to make some truly seriously awesome mods for it... Tribes 2. Loved the way they had the game code set up, as well as the various unit/class/vehicle/etc config files. Made a balanced mod that added a guy with a massive shield and a tank cannon, a light guy with infinite cloak, a super turret-layer dude, a guy that moved really fast specializing in flag captures, and a guy who had infinite jetpack and energy.

Why -rep? I gave you +rep... No clue why, but I did. So there! Ha!
