Some good old fashioned cola.

Dude, spoilers.

You can give all the NPC's aimbots and increase the health to the ridiculous, it will make it harder but that doesn't mean it's the good kind of harder. Difficulty is not some general thing that can be judged the same across all kinds of games.

Listening to Hey Ocean. Ponies or not, this band is awesome. Gonna get my lazy ass to bed, 't has been a fun day.

Bad taste doesn't exist, neither does good taste. I am just not a big fan of the health generation, cover based, 2 weapon style of shooters. I prefer the "old school" shooters in the style of something like Half Life where you focus more keeping track of, managing your health and using movement rather than using cover to magically regain all health.

Normal is subjective.

It's a pretty minor detail really.

I think what he/she/it means by child friendly is the gameplay/level design. It's got the totally boring 2 weapon, hind behind cover to heal up to max health gameplay that is just to easy. The driving is incredibly easy and obvious it's basically a fancier way to get from corridor A to corridor B. The turret sections are just that, boring turret sections. And the puzzles are pretty damn straight forward as well. I don't see why they decided to go with this more modern gameplay style anyway. I mean with the whole theme in general they were taking huge risks anyway to they might as well have sticked to the old style fast paced gameplay.

Well we already knew that.

Sooo, I guess my scan yesterday didn't solve the problem. My PC pretty much fucked and for the sake of great timing my PSU decided it didn't want to live anymore. So not only is there a chance my harddrive got wiped but I also wont be gaming until I get a new PSU. I borrowed one from my brother so after reinstalling w7 I can at least use it to the webs and do school stuff, it is sadly too weak to power my video card so I won't be doing much else on there.

Writing in all caps doesn't make it seem more dramatic, just makes it more obnoxious to read. And I thought backwards Wednesday only existed on spongebob.

I love the obvious metaphor in this episode. Also Rarity redeemed herself for putting your hoof down for my with defending spike in the beginning of this episode.

Because I don't want to spend 60 bucks on a game that is fun if there is a game out there that absolutely awesome.
-
Of course games should be compared with eachother. As a consumer you have a limited amount if money, so you have to choose what you are gonna buy. So you turn to reviews to see whether you should pay 60 bucks for mass effect or whether there is a better game out there. And you always will compare games, since you judge the games based on standards. Standards set by other games.
-
Now that is awesome.
-
Yes, yes the game should receive a higher score if is equally good but has more content. And they should compare it to other games. I guess what it comes down to is you and I have different opinions on how a game should be rated, so this discussion won't lead us anywhere.

OH NO. WE MUST IMMEDIATELY GET RID OF ALL FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT SINCE THEY "STEAL PERSONALITIES"! Welp, no more games but pong then. No more books but school books. Also, good bye TV. People that completely emulate characters from a TV show have a mental illness. My little pony is not stealing personalities. And the people on these forums aren't emulating personalities either. To say Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Flutter ect. don't have their own personalities would be selling them a little lot short. So they increase the Jobs in China, from what I know China has a lot more people than the US does so I think if anything they'd need more jobs.

Correct, there is no such thing as a perfect game, so logically we can assume that a perfect score doesn't mean it's a perfect game, just that it's probably as good as it can be, or that the reviewer recieved full enjoyment from the experience, or found no outstandingly horrible flaws. Mass Effect 3 deserves such a score. That is not how a rating system works. At least not how it SHOULD work. If a something recieves 10 out of 10 than it HAS to be perfect. Because what if a better game comes that doesn't have outstandingly horrible flaws but doesn't have smaller, not outstanding flaws either. What will you rate it? It SHOULD deserve a higher score, but you can't give one because you already gave the highest score possible to a lesser game. Should you give it a 101 out of 100 instead? See, if you do not follow the simple grade school scoring system of x out of 10 then you screw up the whole system. Like I said, scores are crap. They hold way to much value but are so manipulated(by all sides, both critics and users). No, it is not. However it seems to be VERY coincidental that no above mentioned critic seems to have enough of a problem with the ending to make it worth even taking away 1 out of the 100 points, yet we have a lot of disappointed and upset players who feel it is so bad they demand a change of the ending. It is easy to say that all the screams are unjustified and ignore them but for many people there is obviously something wrong with it. And the fact that somehow so many critics seem to apparently think it is the best ending ever(after all, it is the perfect game, right?) is just a little odd, don't you think?

personalities, and jobs Wat? What are you even talking about?

And? Why should they not be huge and rich? What's the problem with being huge and rich? And why is it a problem when what they make gives pleasure to people who buy it?

Found 10 malicious Java files labeled as severe exploits by the anti-virus. Removed those and now I am hoping to have solved the problem. Now I'm gonna walk Atlas, get some Tea and Ice cream and play some Bioshock 2.

So a company makes money and kids/teens/adults get to enjoy the toys, what's wrong with that? How is that not a win-win situation?
