Point is, you can believe whatever you want, but the official statement (at the moment mind you) is that the guy with Eli is Kleiner. It's like how in Star Wars people can believe that the prequels never existed, but in the official canon, they still do.

Look it's quite simple, Alyxx is right the model in HL1 that Laidlaw picked to be Kleiner looks and sounds nothing like Kleiner, the reason Laidlaw chose it though is because Eli and Kleiner are supposed to be long friends and because the black scientist is supposed to be Eli Laidlaw just said "Fuck it...that other ones kleiner." The point is Yes in reality it's clearly not, but Laidlaw is the god of Half Life so technically in the half life universe it's kleiner.

But it's ok I found a solution to this issue, In the game when you get the crowbar just head back to the scientists, when you meet them again just smack the white scientist repeatedly until dead. THERE Problem solved, easiest solution to anything...kill it
