I don't understand whats your point?

Good advice dammit! :P

I was trying to be kind and helpful and you respond with a pedantic correction that had no relevance to the advice I was trying to provide. It totally comes across as somewhat arrogant on your part. :(

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

OK now i am really confused.

You called the project mayhem 2012 thread the anonymous thread but they are two separate threads.

It's an example. It isn't a precedent specific to your thread. I could have used my thread on Programming as the example instead. It's not about what the thread is, it's about what I suggested you do in future when you have something new to add. As you often tend to post stuff on Anonymous, it seemed an appropriate example.

Co-op game organisation using Synergy or Sven Coop with other people seems like a good subject.

If we all use Hamachi, the person with the best connection can host. It is not hard to set up and I use it. :P

That is software used to play single player games online right?

It's VPN software that can be used for getting older games with multiplayer components to have those multiplayer parts function over the internet, although it's treated as a LAN. Only other machines that are part of the VPN can access the different machines on the VPN.

It won't magically give a single-player game multiplayer.

You get my point though.

I'm not sure what it is, you just seem to be trying to rephrase what I've already said.

Now now Doctor, this isn't the random thread.

On the subject of Synergy, when Kirkreng, average internet guy and I played last time, it was horrid. The lag was so bad I could hardly tell what was happening. The port forwarding was fairly annoying to set up as well.

Speaking of Synergy, Sven Co-op, and Hamachi, is there an official Accursed Farms Hamachi network? That's be pretty great for hosting inclusive game sessions for multiplayer matches / co-op events.

There isn't one yet, but there can be one. :)

Port forwarding isn't needed to host with Hamachi. :D
