I think Gen III was the solidest generation to date, with an amazing new Region (Hoenn) and the awesome 1st gen remakes, plus the GameCube Spinoffs and stuff. Next, Gen 6 because it is freaking amazing. X and Y are the best Pokémon games to date, they seem like the perfect balance of old and new Pokémon, an awesome new region, the graphics are great and the dialogues and criminal team keep getting better with each generation. BTW Jake, that's a very handsome Dragonite. Guys, have you heard of PokemoN Showdown? It's an online battling simulator. It's great if you're interested in competitive battling

I think the correct term for the man is ''humanist''.

Is that a hint or just a theory? WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!?!?!?! Every now and then Freeman makes drug jokes, I imagine him coming out of a portal like ''Damn, that guard must have slipped some acid on me, there's a giant testicle with an insect as a hat over there'' or something like it.

Well, we could have seen this coming. While its understandable that we all want to see Freeman's Mind finished (and at the same time NOT) your way of communicating your message is innadequate. I suggest a little more thinking about how you want people to receive your message, such a paranoid and negative tone isn't the best way to go if you want to cheer a content creator to finish his series in the best condition he can. Messages of this kind will not be tolerated again. This thread is now closed.

Currently playing Pokémon X. The single player mode is easy as usual but the competititve battling is amazing and the game itself is beautiful looking, I suggest if you can give it a try! I don't usually enjoy RPGs too much but Pokémon is pretty cool.

Hahaha that's great! Body language is still a little weird but it's so funny!

Well Ross, I's pretty much safe to say you're being heard. Judge Throws Out $11 Million Award to Madden's Original Programmer

DRUGS: Use, abuse, information, disinformation and the law.
Lu replied to Lu's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Well, we won't exclude beer (and cider) and wine! And of the spirits - vodka is not the only one (although being one of the most misunderstood and misused ones) that exists - whiskey, gin, cognac/armagnac, bourbons, liqueuers, bitter vodkas, bitters, sake, to name but a few. Not to mention the myriad variations and different flavours of each one... If the main purpose of these drinks was getting drunk there would have been only two varieties - cheap (with a guaranteed hangover) and expensive. As for expanding conciousness - I personally stay with Science Fiction (to borrow from Arthur C Clarke) and music Cheers! P.S. Rum! I forgot about rum. How could I forget rum!? Arghhh! Shiver me timbers... Wow. Thanks for showing me my ignorance! Seriously, I didn't consider all that.. The Spirit I'm the most familiar with is absinthe and ironically, it has been used for centuries for consciousness expanding and artistic/philosophical inspiration... So, would you like to take the topic into a more specific drug question/theses/theme whatever?. Suggestions are appreciated. -

It kind of is... I love how the first track ressembles Master of Puppets, by Metallica, so much...

Loved to see someone vote for the new Pokemon games, they're really awesome. But for game of the year in terms of relevance, I think GTA V bests it.

Since J.C doesn't seem to be around I took the liberty of editing the topic title so more people see the giveaway . -
Id love to see a review on Mario is Missing, it was released for the NES, SNES AND DOS. It isnt obscure at all but its one of the lesser known mario games, and a rather singular one.

I don't know if realism mode would fir the series. For the HL1 installement Ross even lowred the difficulty so enemies are a lot easier to kill. Ading extr difficulty, realism and complexity would turn Freeman's Mind into a more assault-oriented seies, or at least it would bump a lot that aspect. Half -Life 2 already provides a big change. Level design isn't as absourdly jhilarious as in the first Half-Life and having a heavier plot with heavier characters would already be a big shock. Although... I'd love to see a Freeman's Mind spinoff where all of that comes rue and Gordon takes a more serious and sharp persona, a bit like the Pirate Gordon but Serious-Combine killing-Assault ready-Blood thirsty Freeman. I can only imagine what 10-20 years of stasis could do to Freeman's mental stability

When the bus is full and you pass a stop full of people: "SUUUUUUUUCKEEEERS!!!!! Hahaaaaa."

Knowing Freeman, I'm sure he'll chose the room filled with Xen soldiers at the end..

Artic Silver 5 is a classic, I bought a tube like 5 years ago and have applied to CPUs and GPUs and it ussually improves temperatures by 5 C degrees or more.

Yeah, and it's free and adless! Gotta love Tyrian. It includes the jukebox! The only thing that's missing is the 5th chapter that's included in Tyrian 2000 :/

I didn't have much to do today and I couldn't edit Grakiao's version of it so I made a translation from scratch. Here it is: ETERNAM Game Manual Translation *The Story Part* I've translated from english to spanish before and this is my first time doing it the other way around, I enabled commenting on the doc so if you want you can point any inconsistency or mistake. If this receives some good feedback, I may do a PDF version including the original artwork. It's pretty cool.

By the way, has anyone seen the Zelda game from the Phillips CDi? It uses similar animations for cutscenes and character dialogue, I found the similarity hilarious. ZKOzqw83RVo edit: I had embedded the wrong video, whoops! This is the one.

You are so naive... I can definetely see that with tobacco and maybe even cannabis, it's flavor when smoked can vary wildly from one strain to the other, or depending on how itLs been treated. But alcohol? If we exclude beer and wine,I don't think that's the case. I've never seen someone try 7 kinds of vodka (and by the time they would be done, theyLd be pretty hammered) I don't see drugs as something idiotic. I can pretty much reuse your main reason for consuming argument. Most people do drugs to just get high, but there's so much more you can do,,, Consciousness expanding, introspective analysis with a different state of consciousness, the whole ''altered state of consciousness'' goes way beyond what normal perception can give you (or ''traditional'' psychoactives like tobacco or alcohol). And yes, pretty much all of that is obtaineable without drugs through intensive meditation and practice... But why would you walk 30 miles to the nearest gas station when there's a pump a kilometer away... (it's 3:41 am, excuse me for the lack of a better analogy). I can definetely see why people would take the other road but as an introduction to altered states of consciousness and what you can achieve with them, some drugs (specially the psychedelic kind) can be a tool of great use. What I consider stupid, unnecessary and idiotic is the way drugs are generally used nowadays and that can be traced to education, education being laced with groundless affirmations and medieval-like witch hunting except they're chasing the witch's potions instead of the witches themselves... Ancestral cultures all around the world have used psychoactives in shamanic ways (introspective exploration, self-healing of the mind and body, connecting with their beliefs etc..), that lead people to see drugs as powerful tools that should not be played with. (You'll never see a shaman administering ayahuasca brews to a bunch of people so they trip in the woods while they puke their guts out )
