In the game, if you play it as you're supposed to, you jump into the water with the ichty, open the grate at the bottom, swim through the opening, traverse the canal to the next section where you cross the desert to a military base of operations, go through that before coming out at the cliffside and having to climb that to the rocket launcher where you can finally take out the chopper. But Ross' Freeman doesn't always do things the way you're supposed to...

He's already dealt with one ichtyosaur back in Episode 32: Gv1EPEK2k-0

My apologies but at the moment, I do not have access to the subtitle files (they're on the desktop computer which is currently in storage until I can get settled in an apartment). Thanks, but I checked it several times but it doesn't sound like "being lost" at all. I admit, during that portion, the voice is strained but I'm almost 100% sure he's saying "big wads" which is slang. "Being lost", while accurate in context, doesn't seem to make sense (to me) in that portion. I think "big wads" is what is being said here but if Ross says he was saying something else, I will change it. Thanks again! P.S.: I am in transit moving to another state so whether I can get online or not over this month is iffy at best. I should be able to get more stability by the beginning of May.

It's probably a map made by Ross. It's the same map as "Shadow of a Doubt" (at least the "outside the Miskatonic Tunnel" sequence).

Just a quick heads up notice for episode 41 or any further Freeman's Mind episodes coming out in the next month or two, I will be moving out of state beginning of March so I will be unable to provide subtitles or anything until I get situated in the new place and get Internet access again. It depends on how I feel throughout the day, but right now, my favorite one is recent when Gordon steps out into the lobby after realizing that everyone was trying to kill him and he kills that guard and he sees the HECU marching away from him in the lobby: "Yoo-hoo! Over here! You forgot your bullets! Take some of mine! .....You're welcome!" The way he says "Yoo-hoo!" just cracks me up.

Well, remember, this is where the game gets into high action. Also remember that, once you retrieve a scientist and get him to let you outside, you're under heavy HECU fire on your way to the hydroelectric dam. I think it remains in high action throughout until you at least the cliffside.

When you're shouting in this episode, "I have a personal space zone, God dammit!" (I believe that's what you're shouting), you sound genuinely angry. That was awesome.

Here's--hic--here's the subtitles for episode 40. Fuck yeah. EDIT: I have been informed that the file had disappeared, so I am re-upping the file. I don't know what happened.

My sound card is being used at the moment but this should be a very fun episode to subtitle when my soundcard gets free. I love this one. Lasers make Freeman happy. Can't wait for him to push the block under the sheet of metal to blow a hole in the wall.

Wonder what is meant by revamping the subtitles sections....

I think the requirement here is that they're posted here, possibly attached as either TXT or, if possible, a timed SRT (Sub-Rip) file using the program Subtitle Workshop. Don't know about posting it elsewhere, though.
