  1. So, I didn't know that Ross had released "Civil Protection - Aliens" as a two-parter on his YouTube channel. So, I've edited the subtitles I had for that video and split them into two parts. Here they are! civil_protection_aliens_pt1_en.srt civil_protection_aliens_pt2_en.srt
  2. "HOW'S ABOUT I JEST MOSEY IN HERE AND YOU CAN DOWNLOAD YOU A LITTLE SUBTITLE FILE?" ross_s_game_dungeon_quarantine_en.srt
  3. Subtitle update: Placemarkers added for syncing. Now all I have to do is move the individual pieces into place and fix formatting anomalies. I should be able to release the subs tomorrow. Thanks for the patience!
  4. Glorify the weak
  5. Subtitles are typed up. I still have to sync them. Have patience, folks. They'll be here soon. Also, does anyone know the title of the song where "Glorify the weak" repeats over and over again? I want to purchase a copy of that song for my collection if I can.
  6. Just a quick heads up. There's a thread for Game Dungeon suggestions already made.
  7. I don't know how obscure it is or if Ross will consider it too mainstream for the Game Dungeon, but I'd love to see the "Crush" series of games all in one review (sort of like how he's done game series in the past). The Crush series is a set of pinball games for consoles such as Turbo-Grafx 16 and Sega Genesis and is probably the best pinball series of all time. In my opinion. Now, I've only played Alien Crush and Devil's Crush so I can't vouch for the third: Jaki Crush and I didn't even know about Jaki Crush until I researched the Crush games. Looked at it on YouTube and looks good. I hope Ross will do the Crush series some day.
  8. That's a pet peeve of mine, to be honest. Equivocation. "All feathers are light. Light is the opposite of dark. Therefore, there are no dark feathers." It's the taking of a word ("light") with two different meanings ("not heavy", "pale") and using one definition ("pale") in conclusion. The word "theory" has two different definitions but they word is only being used (incorrectly) in the conclusion. In colloquial terms, "theory" is synonymous with "guess" or "hypothesis". That's fine and dandy and I have no problem with that (in theory). It's when THAT definition is applied to something it should NOT be applied to that I have a problem. In scientific terms, "theory" is synonymous with "explanation of fact". It is the highest standard you can get in science. EVERYTHING that exists has an associated theory. The theory of gravity, the theory of electromagnetism, the theory of evolution, the theory of biology, the theory of germs, the theory of cosmological expansion ("the Big Bang"), the theory of thermodynamics, the theory of the speed of light, and so on. These are not hypotheses. These are not guesses. They are explanations of observable phenomena with a mountain of peer-reviewed evidence. To say something is "just a theory" completely misrepresents what "theory" is in this context. Some things are NOT eligible for debate. The composition of the Moon remains the same whether we believe it's rock or whether we believe it's Norwegian beaver cheese. They simply are. The "Big Bang" is one of those things that "simply are".
  9. You should call yourself "Lady Magdalene" rather than "HLPrincess".
  10. While I am the official (English) subtitler of Accursed Farms, I am not currently in charge of adding the subtitles to the YouTube videos themselves. There are still some subtitles that I've provided that have not yet been placed on the videos. Hopefully this will be sorted soon.
  11. Yay! *puts up foam finger*

  17. Fried chicken and potato wedges. Woo.
  18. Thanks! One thing I did notice as I was going through this. It seems to have somewhat odd capitalization here and there, where words in the middle of sentences (but in a new "screen") are capitalized. For example, lines 54 and 55 are written like this: 54: Donc, puisque vous êtes un badass historique, ils vous ont ressucité pour la ramener, 55: Et de démolir quiconque se met en travers de votre chemin. It seems that, with the comma at the end of 54, the beginning of 55 should be lowercase ("et de démolir..."). I'm not 100% sure of the grammar rules where it comes to French (the word "and" starting the new "screen"), but it feels off. Also, this might be a stylistic choice, but I prefer having the line lengths to be somewhat similar in length where possible. In line 102, you wrote: Vous pouvez choisir si vous voulez ou non être du côté du garde, mais ça n'a aucune importance. I think it would look better written as such: Vous pouvez choisir si vous voulez ou non être du côté du garde, mais ça n'a aucune importance. But that's just me. Thanks so much for making this, however, and I hope you have the courage to cover part 2 and the rest of the subs that aren't done yet! Go Mamajumbo!
  19. She will END you!
  20. Sadness.
