  1. Losing support isn't the same as killing the stuff using it. It's a difficult transition, but not necessarily bad in the long run.
  2. Analog sticks have aiming assist... Mouse generally doesn't.
  3. What makes you think we'll run out? There is no indication of that in any of the reports I've seen. (including some pretty grim looking ones I'm not authorized to have seen)
  4. For the file hosting, you might want to consider Bayfiles... https://torrentfreak.com/former-pirate-bay-cyberlocker-bayfiles-makes-a-comeback-180718/
  5. Great... Your video corrupted my converter install... lol Gonna take me a while longer to "reacquire" the converter.
  6. Torrenting is a good choice, just seed them once, and let the community do the rest.
  7. There quite obviously is something to add though...
  8. I'll give a few of my encoders a try.
  9. Ross, you mentioned liking the 80's style synth music, so I have to ask if you've heard of Lazerhawk? It's designed to be very similar to that era's synthetic music. If you want, I do have a short list of similar artists.
  10. I guess I'll just release the 10GB version, I can see the compression on parts in the 5GB copy. Even the 10GB probably has some minor loss, but I'm sure it's night and day compared to Youtube. I may host it elsewhere since things are going to be changing soon on the site. I'll release it and the green screen segment people wanted in a couple days and have a post here. If you're getting significant visual artifacts at 1080p above 3gb/hr you need to check your settings, or get a different encoder. It shouldn't be giving noticeable artifacts (outside of pausing and doing frame comparisons) at that rate.
  11. Why do you think it should stay abandoned?
  12. They didn't use ANY transistors, much less put them inside a vacuum tube. All computers in the Fallout universe are a form of analog computer, and that is actually why AI is even possible at all.
  13. What could be more random than this?
  14. That's actually one of the ways I determined the value of the card. It is literally in perfect condition, no scratches, wear, clouding, or defects of any kind.
  15. Possible option for an update to the videos that aren't being monetized on youtube: https://torrentfreak.com/peertube-a-censorship-resistent-youtube-alternative-180623/
  16. Not trying to sound unappreciative, but you seem to go through cycles of this... A period of similar responses, then a period of wanting to erase that part of your past, then repeat. Just an observation.
  17. From what I'm hearing, it's going to be very similar to Conan Exiles, except in the Fallout universe and less nudity.
  18. Not yet I haven't, hence the question if anyone knows how to sell it painlessly. (and without risk of getting ripped off)
  19. Your history is yours, but the history you put on the internet is everyone's.
  20. There is no way I'm going to play with a $470 card... I have a life that is helped by having a bit of money.
  21. Watch out Ross, you might be facing another round of YouTube problems... https://torrentfreak.com/youtubes-piracy-filter-blocks-mit-courses-blender-videos-and-more-180618/
  22. So far, all the online listing systems seem to be pretty crappy with their systems, despite being the go-to place to sell stuff. So if anyone knows a painless way to sell MTG cards, I'd appreciate some advice. I bring this up because I just found out I have a near-mint condition Yavimaya Hollow foil, which is a $470 USD card. (I also have a couple others that are around $20, so it's not just the one card)
  23. If you can do private servers, I'm not opposed in any way to the game... If not, then I'm going to be sceptical about how well this will do.
  24. I think the BETA test will better display what is actually in the game than any rumors, especially since just about every time rumors start, they're very different from what reality is.
