So far, all the online listing systems seem to be pretty crappy with their systems, despite being the go-to place to sell stuff. So if anyone knows a painless way to sell MTG cards, I'd appreciate some advice. I bring this up because I just found out I have a near-mint condition Yavimaya Hollow foil, which is a $470 USD card. (I also have a couple others that are around $20, so it's not just the one card)

If you can do private servers, I'm not opposed in any way to the game... If not, then I'm going to be sceptical about how well this will do.
-
I think the BETA test will better display what is actually in the game than any rumors, especially since just about every time rumors start, they're very different from what reality is.

I'm waiting for new info before passing judgement.

Supposedly it has an online requirement, or so a lot of people seem to think. They're going to have a lot of problems selling it if that's true.

The problem is that those inevitably become a form of registry, which has never NOT been abused in some way. The only way to enforce that kind of training is to make it a mandatory class in school for every grade. (they used to have it, but it got removed for no apparent reason) -

So, do you also blame hammers for squished thumbs? Razor blades for people cutting themselves? Cars for hit & runs? Planes for airstrikes? The Earth for pollution problems? -

How is it a loophole? Maybe they did it intentionally... -

I don't get why you're talking about open carry restrictions at all though... It's not like a concealed weapon is any less dangerous. -

How about putting actual firearms education into schools, and not make it a federal crime just to have a gun on the property? Might want to check on how many school shootings there were back when they had programs to teach kids marksmanship... Also, that rant belongs here: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=1520 -

The Immutable Laws of Game Purchase
BTGBullseye replied to PsychoFox's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
If we're posting our own personal rules, here are mine... 1. If it looks interesting, try it through whatever means are currently available. (this includes pirating, demos, videos, and actual full purchasing) 2. If I pirate it, I do so with the intent of paying for a copy of it ASAP, after testing. 3. If the game ends up sucking, rule 2 does not apply. 4. If it's an EA title, it gets pirated first, always. 5. If it's available on Humble Bundle, (even if it's not in a Bundle) I get it from them. -
Battletech. Very fun. Highly recommended. Is almost everything I could ever want in a turn-based strategy set in the Battletech universe. (it's missing a way to change engines on mechs, and a way to build your own empire)

It's a 254 plugin limit that applies collectively to ESM and ESP for all the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games that use them. If you've never hit that limit, you're not an avid modder. NMM does inform you if you make it to that limit, and will tell you that you've exceeded it, but it will still allow you to have that many in place. (and for a couple weeks I actually managed to get Skyrim to run with 267 plugins active, before it corrupted the game files)

FrostPunk. Interesting game, first level is easily the hardest, almost no replay value once you've beaten the 3 scenarios it ships with.
-
Same here... Sim Settlements uses it, and it's on the Nexus.

ROSS'S GAME DUNGEON: A NEW BEGINNING
BTGBullseye replied to Ross Scott's topic in Ross's Game Dungeon
If you take into account modern Thorium reactor designs, the only waste that can be produced from the impossible-to-meltdown reactor, decays to background levels of radiation in 12 years. -
So, what's you opinions on the new ESL format that doesn't count towards your plugin limit?
-
Last I heard, the save game wipe was because they had issues with corrupted saves, not as a hostile act from the company.

ROSS'S GAME DUNGEON: A NEW BEGINNING
BTGBullseye replied to Ross Scott's topic in Ross's Game Dungeon
Yeah, nothing except the hairstyles and anti-nuclear attitudes belong to 1982... Everything else is much more recent. That makes this a totally nonsensical game to me, and I would not be able to enjoy it. FYI, since 1987 we have had nuclear reactor designs that were physically incapable of meltdown, even if you were trying to force a meltdown. -
First off, I don't think Bethesda's noninterference policy regarding mods is a bad thing, nor do I find their mod monetization attempt to be inherently anti-modder. They provide, free for everyone, comprehensive modding tools for their game; definitely not the actions of a company that wants to limit you to paid mods. Also, they do pay attention to the modding scene in a good way, as the introduction of settlement building proves. (it was a very popular mod for Skyrim) Now, I have a few mods to recommend: 1. Sim Settlements + all associated (place a desk, and activate one section of it, and never worry about your settlement again, has numerous expansions) 2. Weapons of Fate (more realistic ballistics) 3. Armorsmith Extended (armor modding/crafting overhaul, not extensively different from vanilla) 4. Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (a must have) 5. Companion Stealth Distance Fix (keeps your companions from humping your back any time you crouch) 6. Snapable Junk Fences (adds snap nodes to the junk fences so you don't have the horrendous gaps between pieces) 7. Scrapable Commonwealth (makes a lot of non-scrapable for no apparent reason stuff scrapable) 8. Scavenger (pick up a fan, and instead you only get the relevant components from it, not a bulky+heavy fan to lug around) 9. Mo Betta Scrap (more logical resulting scrap from scrapping items) 10. Scrap Dead Things (corpses can be scrapped for fertilizer and bone) 11. True Storms (better looking and MUCH higher performance than vanilla weather) 12. Wasteland Water Revival (looks like real water, not 2000's era game water) 13. Faster Terminal Displays (cuts out well over an hour of the waiting in the game, just because of faster text display on computers) 14. Legendary Enemy Spawning (more legendary items, higher game difficulty) 15. Live Dismembering (knock a supermutant's arm off so he can't fight) 16. No Glowing Mines and Realistic Tripwires (realism) 17. Better Settlers (self explanatory) 18. Valdacil's Item Sorting (loot management) 19. Insignificant Object Remover (better performance, no negatives) 20. Truly Ghoulish (lets you become a Ghoul or Child of Atom, radiation becomes your friend) 21. Advanced Bubble Turret Set (cobbled together turrets aren't your only defenses anymore) 22. Auto Doors (make doors that auto-close after 10 sec, so that deathclaw can't wander in through your gate that was opened by a provisioner) 23. Bigger Settlements (no more absurdly tiny build limits!!!) 24. Place Everywhere (no more red placement, you can put it there if you want; I use it for making underground power lines in Sanctuary) 25. Scrap Everything (you can delete houses, roads, and even workshops if you want) 26. Spring Cleaning (similar to Scrap Everything, but for different stuff) 27. Power Armor Animation Changes (faster enter/exit for power armor) 28. Old World Radio - Boston (adds several radio stations with a variety of music, NIN, 8-bit Hits, Synthstream FM, etc.) 29. Better Wait Menu (waiting and sleeping menu improvement) 30. Darker Nights (if you're not a fan of "just before sunrise at the darkest" vanilla nights) 31. See-Through Scopes (for a bit of realism) 32. Stronger Institute Weaponry (they're supposed to be the highest-tech in the game, so why are they weaker versions of lasers?) And on to a few of Meelis's complaints... 1. There is a mod out there that adds different ammo to the game, though it is as a weapon mod instead of the actual different ammos. (that's the thing I miss most from New Vegas) 2. VIS (Valdacil's Item Sorting) fixes a lot of the inventory issues. 3. That weight limit stuff is why there is a specific set of perks available in the Strength column... Running and fast traveling while encumbered.

Not too shabby getting ~$2.5k a month...

That last option was too good to pass up... On that note, I have no idea what happened because I haven't been paying that much attention to the news in recent weeks.
