Those were both terrible deals for everyone except for the shareholders of a select few companies... Anyone who can't see that needs to get their eyes checked. 1. Nuclear is the only way to get enough power for the national grid efficiently enough, short of fossil fuel plants. Solar and wind are both extremely temperamental, more polluting, more lethal, and more costly. 2. Battery improvements are not sufficient enough to allow for a full transfer from fossil fuel to electric vehicles en-masse, especially considering that the average battery STILL only lasts a year or two. (you'd have to spend a minimum of $10k each time to replace the battery at their current cost) 3. Natural Gas is a severely underappreciated fuel source. Most gasoline powered vehicles could be converted to use it for less than $1000 per car, for a 1-time fee. This would reduce pollution by around 90%, reduce all fuel costs, (after the initial CNG cost rise to compensate for the demand) improve mileage, and allow for a great many more resources to be devoted to "green tech" research. I have read nothing but unsubstantiated rumor about him in regards to the accusations you're making. If you have supporting evidence, please provide it. I have read nothing but unsubstantiated rumor about him in regards to the accusations you're making. If you have supporting evidence, please provide it. One of the major reasons that Planned Parenthood was defunded was because of their repeated use of scaremongering to push people to get abortions at clinics that gave kickbacks directly to PP. These clinics also had reputations for being incredibly bad at their job, occasionally even removing the child alive, then leaving it to die of exposure, or simply beating it to death. PP however was protected by their friends in the government, and so was never shut down, despite being proven to be corrupt way beyond even what the government is. Another reason is that it was using tax dollars to directly fund this corruption, effectively forcing people with religious prohibitions on the support of murder of unborn children to fund the murder of unborn children. (please don't argue the "they're not a person yet" thing, as that definition is false according to any form of scientific scrutiny that has been used to define it) -
Fluids and rest. Hope you feel better soon.

Unfortunately your definition of "provably false" is completely different from every official definition I've ever heard/read. And yet never was any proof presented to counter my experience. Just because it doesn't add up with your own limited personal experience, doesn't mean that it can't ever happen anywhere ever. And nobody ever truly countered that. People still treat science as a religion, blindly following the teachings of those that claim to be scientists, irregardless of their actual methods. Same could be said for anyone else in those situations. It takes 2 to argue, and I have always stated that I don't back down from an argument just to appease someone who tries to misinform or mislead people. (intentionally or not) If factual evidence that is not controversial is provided to counter my position, then I will back down, but so far that has not happened. I would, but I have the policy of never sending invites out to others, except inside a game, and then only to those I am already friends with. (it is a good way to keep from having trouble with many of the truly bad people that are out there) -
Well... I have a machine gun. Happy b-day Ross!

Red Faction Guerrilla was a far superior game. Open world, fully destructible buildings, extensive weapons selection, upgrades, mods, you name it. That said, this was a decent game, until it decided that saving at 1 specific checkpoint was no longer something it wanted to do on my system. (impossible to progress because of it, tried nearly 20 times)

Just an FYI to anyone I may have offended in the past... I am very blunt, and don't change my beliefs based on information that I don't consider to be proof. If that has caused offense to people, I am sorry, none was intended. -

A very real threat to everybody in Poland, even Ross
BTGBullseye replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
The IP address provided by ISPs generally are what's called "dynamic", meaning they change on a semi-regular basis. Ross might get transferred to an IP address that a pirate used last year, and have his computers confiscated because of it. He doesn't have to do anything at all for this to negatively impact him. -
1. Trump can't control what the FCC does, and Obama put Pai in there. 2. NK isn't a real threat to anyone except South Korea. 3. The limited selection of candidates is because the American public has been taught to pick people based on what they say at the time, not what their history shows them to be. Research on the background of the candidates is ridiculed because "it's such a nerdy thing to do", and incomplete backgrounds portrayed by mass media are all the more that the public wants. This results in a lack of information about the candidates, and an attempt to misinform people into voting a particular way. (like all the major media saying that Clinton would win by a landslide until the final hours of the election proved otherwise)

Please read this... https://torrentfreak.com/police-seize-hundreds-of-computers-over-pirate-movie-download-in-2013-171125/ The gist of it is, copyright trolls are actively and 'legally' seizing computers of random people based on unconfirmed IP addresses obtained 4 years ago. This is apparently a rather common practice nowadays within the Polish legal system. They rarely find any illegal content on the seized systems, and the people who are losing their systems will likely never see them, or the contents of the system, again.

Yeah, something looks weird about that diagram... That almost looks like a software descriptor, and not a hardware one. (for indirect processing, like in a VM or other emulator of some sort)

This is a straight-up copy of someone else's collected info that I found on another forum. I am placing it here to help prevent the loss of this info to time, and the ravages of internet censorship, or whatever else comes up. NONE OF THIS COMES FROM ME!!! It comes from here: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=81743.0 Background: Omron switches are the common by far used in mice, however the naming scheme and rumors abound about what each does and is. Here I'll try and document as much as I can and dispel some of the mysteries. This took hours to compile, reading websites, pdf's and more, it contains all you should need to know. Note: Omron uses two naming methods. While I have not confirmed it, I suspect the numbers are different simply because one number is meant for a machine to install while the others are meant for individual sale/retail. The machine ones probably come assembled in trays or strips so the machine can feed them in quickly. This is backed up by the Asus ROG Spatha mouse which uses a machine numbers on the switches inside the mouse, but retail naming on the two switches included (this mouse allows the user to change them). This guide covers both, but right or wrong about naming reasons, this is how they will be referred to in order to distinguish them. D2F Switches: The switches by Omron are all designated D2F, from there it gets a bit more complex. We'll discuss retail switches first, as once you understand them, you can more easily understand the machine switches. D2F vs D2FC indicates origin and more. (Important!) D2F vs D2F -01 (can be with or without the dash) The next batch of numbers or lack of them is usually an 01, this indicates the spring material. Spring rates (-F) Lifespan Will be labeled as D2F -01 (10M) Other random numbers and letters in the switch part number Example D2F L3 -T Machine switch Numbers Other Switch Brands Popular Mice and what switches they use Sources

Which bit depth are you talking about? Seg Descriptors have 8-32 bit sizes.

That does not result in an actually secure connection, only a superficially secure one. (it appears to be secure, but is only as secure as regular HTTP)

ROSS'S GAME DUNGEON: LIFE IS STRANGE DEMO
BTGBullseye replied to Ross Scott's topic in Ross's Game Dungeon
Considering all the talk about getting stranded on a desert island... Anyone up for it? I am. I'm ready to go get lost at a moment's notice with all of you to be there to watch me walk into the densest, snake infested, spider crawling interior forest, all so I can build my own shelter my way after everyone else rejects my plans. -

Ross, I'm glad you played this instead of me... I wouldn't have made it through the second 'bathroom shooting' scene. -
That's about $5116.24/mo more than I get per month...

While there is some appeal to using that interpretation, all of the "AI war" scenarios are stuck with a major problem... That is that the AI either has human-like emotional capacity combined with a glitch or some form of abuse, or that it comes to the illogical conclusion that it must eradicate our species for some reason. As I am unwilling to go into further detail at this time, (headaches really take the fun out of debate thinking) I'll leave others to continue the discussion.
-
I can say with 100% certainty that that is 99% of the problem.
