  1. Getting ready to test out the Don't Starve series that I just pirated...
  2. Second one was the electrocution stuff... Had to keep that pacemaker charged.
  3. HAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!ONE!!!!!!
  4. Sounds like a nerve issue... Could even be a vitamin deficiency.
  5. Pizza and raspberry tea.
  6. I know I personally wouldn't place them as anime.
  7. Planetside 2 again... Got 2 Battle Ranks, and a lot of certs in just under 6 hours of gameplay.
  8. Nah, they aren't dicks over there... A lot of people seem to think so because of some of the bugs that happen in their games, but they're really just cool people.
  9. Ah... Good to know. Also, all of my 2 characters are NC, named BTGbullseye, and are on each of the two US servers. (the East Server one is currently BR 18, the West is 13) Just a tip for anyone starting out and wanting to complete the Basic Training stuff, go do it in the VR Training map... (that is, if you aren't already told that when you start) You get all the benefits of the achievements with none of the drawbacks. (like repeatedly dying because you don't have Certs to upgrade your weapons and items) [EDIT] Corrected to update my BR.
  10. Planetside 2.
  11. That's really disappointing. I think Fallout 3 and FNV owed a great deal of its continuing popularity to the modding community supporting it. You would think Bethesda would want to make things easier for that fanbase. They are going to release it, it just hasn't happened yet because they're trying to make it stable for more than just themselves. Even though the GECK isn't out yet, there are thousands of mods for the game, some are very extensive, some are the extensive NSFW mods from previous Bethesda games.
  12. You should consider that in the 80's and early 90's people were spending $2k-$10k just for a basic computer... Adjust for inflation, and you'll see that prices are so low now that people wonder how anyone could pay half a year's salary (average was actually 1/4-1/2 a year) just to be able to make a word document. Now consider a VR setup only costing a couple months for all the hardware required, and you can see how this isn't that expensive.
  13. The only non-aquatic animals that naturally live in Antarctica are birds and Seals... I don't think there's too much as can be done with that.
  14. When was this? I have not been getting on anything other than my NC account for quite awhile, also I rarely, if ever pilot tanks. I prefer aircraft and sunderer's myself. Last night, someone named "Mathadar" blew up my Sunderer on Amerish as I was helping push one of the two easternmost southern routes. Whoever it was was using a Prowler with (I think) default weapons. Looked like it had a racer chassis from its turn rate and maximum speed.
  15. The weapons have almost identical performance for self defense situations, though the manual safety system on the M9 is probably better for a civilian operator. (they are less likely to accidentally set off the weapon than they would be using a Glock's trigger safety, which is its ONLY safety feature) That said, any store that sells one should also be selling the other. Try each one out, and see which fits you better, as that will be 99.999999999% of the difference between the weapons.
  16. This just in... Ike could see the future! https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2016/01/ike-had-dream-and-it-unfortunately-came-true
  17. That depends on which firearm from those manufacturers you're comparing, and what your intended application for the weapon is. This question as it is currently worded is equivalent to asking "which is better, male or female".
  18. Planetside 2. Getting better and better... Once I got used to it, and put mods on it, (4x scope, foregrip, HV ammo, compensator) the Warden became my go-to weapon for Heavy Assault. Basically turns me into a counter-sniper that can take a couple headshots before dying. (barring of course the maxed out level 3000+ characters and their 1-shot kill sniper weapons, sometimes)
  19. And yet you blow up my Sunderer with a tank while you're playing TR, traitor! I almost got you back, had air support and everything, but you ran before I could refill my ammo. So, just because they are corporate, regardless of any of the ideals or anything else, it automatically makes them worse than an oppressive dictatorial government that massacres its own citizens? You did say the TR was less assholish, I dare you to prove it!
  20. Well, the majority of the differences we're having appear to be based on opposing views of what holds a player's attention longer... You feel it to be more attention holding to have artificial restrictions on gameplay, and progression similar to typical non-MMO FPS games, whereas I feel there should be no restrictions and should have more MMO aspects than you. Many of your ideas are really good, but I just don't feel that your underlying game design will hold the attention of millions of active players for more than a few months. I also think you're designing it mainly to be a game you're wanting to play right now instead of a game that will grab and hold as many people as possible for as long as possible.
  21. What? The TR has the least assholish backstory. the NC are Corporatists who claim to be revolutionaries. At least the Terran Republic isn't just straight up corporatism like the NC, or Tech obsessed like the Vanu. The TR are a flat out dictatorship... That means you do what the government says or you die. I have yet to see anything say that the NC is a 'corporate nightmare' faction, apart from conjecture from players that don't like the NC. http://wiki.planetside-universe.com/ps/New_Conglomerate http://wiki.planetside-universe.com/ps/TR http://wiki.planetside-universe.com/ps/Vanu_Sovereignty You should look at post #4 in your link... It has a very accurate description of what is really going on. Granted, you may prefer weapons that have absurd fire rates and magazine capacities, but it's not closer to the typical shooters most people are coming from. That said, glad to have at least 1 experienced player from recent times. (I stopped playing shortly before it left beta because of computer and internet restrictions)
  22. Yeah, NC is closest to normal shooters... Besides, the backstory for them is the least assholish IMO.
  23. Sounds like fun... Now I want to go do that... Fallout 4 too.
  24. That is exactly what I was intending... How anyone could think that protesting government overreach is a step towards a dictatorship is beyond me.
  25. Planetside 2. I'm trying to find a good equilibrium for render scale and still be able to see everything... Currently at 0.75, but that still only leaves me at 20 FPS in a combat environment.
