  1. Just early 2016... Probly sometime in January. (I hope)
  2. Modified placeholders are relatively easy as well, so there's that too...
  3. Of course I'm not going to spend $120k minimum for at least 8 years of college, just to learn something I already know from people who don't know as much about it as I do. (or flat out think it's impossible to do what I've already done) Formal research training was never something Tesla had... Didn't stop him from making large-scale functional wireless energy almost a reality nearly a century before we started using it on a small scale for battery charging. And you know that those "perpetual energy" systems are all just modified clones of existing systems proven to not work... Not anything even close to practical zero-point/vacuum energy generation that almost nobody is working on. (for one thing, nobody in their right mind would ever claim vacuum energy to be an unlimited source, but it would appear that way to the uneducated)
  4. You never know, I may just get my hands dirty and try some modeling with this game... I'm not very experienced, but I have this design that's been in my head for about a decade now, but never actually made. (it's a .308 battle rifle, looks near-futuristic if I had to describe it, scope/s included)
  5. I'm sure you'll find a way. Now, how about all the mods? Staying with existing weapon mod models, or looking for additional models after GECK is released?
  6. Kinda what I was getting at...
  7. Yay! No more "you're supposed to hide in the shadows, you know, those areas that are only lit by 2 or 3 lights instead of several really bright ones"! I'd also say to check on this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3146/? This has to be the most modded game in the first month of its release... I'm seeing thousands of mods already. (a lot more than I saw with Skyrim or NV at this early in the release cycle)
  8. It may suck for your mod, but it does make at least some real-world sense. (excluding power armor)
  9. And even if there was, you can always use the console to change perks. Waiting for the FO4GECK is killing me...
  10. Fallout 4, and Star Trek Online... I'm up to 170 hours in F4, and 1700 in STO.
  11. I want to see a native automatic .308 rifle... The hunting rifle is all well and good, but way too damn slow rate of fire.
  12. That was one nice landing... It's sad that it took them this long to make something that would actually do it. (we've had the capability for decades)
  13. YAY!!! Thank you!
  14. Tribes series is essentially the aftermath of the Earthsiege/Cyberstorm series... Same universe, different eras. I personally prefer the Earthsiege series, and wish they would make a new version of it. (Cyberstorm as well)
  15. You mentioned a GT750, that will do a decent framerate at medium settings in F4, and good framerates in Skyrim. (if properly setup, 20-30 FPS in F4, or 30+ in Skyrim)
  16. But you do need to have some sort of endgame... Giving no form of ending is like putting someone in a sandbox with ants, they soon want to get out. Just a little something, not ending the play, but acknowledging what they have done in the world. Could even be as simple as a dialog box after a certain amount of in-game time summarizing their choice and relationship statuses... (possibly even having that be a recurring thing, with certain minor perks/rewards based on the results)
  17. Up to 135 hours now... (Fallout 4)
  18. For a simple machinima, you might want to consider trying something in Skyrim or Fallout 4... Fallout 4 would probly be the better option of the two, but you'll have to wait for the GECK to be released. There are a LOT of engines that can be used for machinima. Most of the engines you mentioned were only popular for the fact that many people had experience modding them anyways, not because they are easy or fun to make machinimas in.
  19. Fallout 4. Now at 107 hours played... Heading to bed... I won't dream about the Fallout environs, but I will have interesting dreams because of playing it.
  20. I think it should be able to handle half points...

  22. Would you mind showing some actual proof of your conclusions?
  23. How the fuck was the holocaust something caused by Christianity?
  24. This is something taught to all military personnel in the USA. It is incorrect that this applies to everyone. It mainly applies to those who are withholding information by will, not out of fear. (unless it's an incredibly strong fear) Just really not easy to determine who it will or won't work on, so it's better to not bother. Torture can be physical or mental... So far everyone has talked about physical torture, but nothing about mental torture has arrisen. Mental torture would be someone who grabs your loved ones, and starts tearing off their fingernails in front of you, until you tell them the information they want. This can be an extremely effective method for most purposes, but is also among the worst violations of human rights I can think of. It is also the most common form of torture in the world today. (though the least publicized)
  25. Oh well... Are you planning on implementing any of the settlement building aspects into your mod?
