  1. If you've watched the 90's series Sliders, they actually have an episode that covers that. (season 1, episode 7: "Eggheads") Have you ever had a totally awesome dream, but the instant your eyes open, the memory of it dissipates?
  2. 2207 - The first new idiot since the exodus is born to the director of the WHO and his wife.
  3. Simple capacitor system hooked into the 440 volt input to a house... 1.21gw is easy to do for a second or two. If the only music you could ever again listen to came from one game or game series, and no other music would ever be audible, but you could choose the game/series?
  4. The original Red Alert music is awesome.
  5. Lamenting that it was dark, or that you don't have other dark jokes? OT: Preparing to play more NFSU2... Unfortunately, I only have an 360 controller, so the triggers act like a single axis in the game, and I can't get x360ce to work with the game.
  6. What are you talking about? Normal conversations are heated when Seattleite is in them, nothing untoward about it. I don't take offense, and hopefully he realizes that none of what I say is intended as an offense either. (I think he does, because of how we were extremely friendly with half of a post, and throwing insults in the other half, in the thread about his mod)
  7. Hate times 8.
  8. You know, until I watched it before posting it, I didn't realize just exactly how I looked or sounded... I'm pretty awesome aren't I. You really don't have to be 'committed' to it to be good at it, that's what custom printing is for. Just find an image for them, or request it from me, and then print them. Just remember, that apart from basic land cards, you can have a maximum of 4 identically named cards per deck, and you can only have 1 Legendary of each name on the battlefield at any given time. (just go to the MtG thread in the Gaming subforum, and I can even give you a starter deck to print out)
  9. You feel better soon, or I'll kill you! lol
  10. Anything can be traced to anywhere, or connected to anything. I can connect a dream I had to what color socks the president chose to wear this morning... The trick is to find something with direct causation linked back to specific events. (for which there is very little in modern life that links to WWI)
  11. Capillary action at it's finest. Don't worry, I have the same struggle.
  12. I'd like 4000 tacos and a coke please...
  13. Fixed, (don't put a space or move to another line between the URL and the img tags) and what a cute snake! Send a PM to the Admins.
  14. Mine tend to be 1-2 years... Excluding AF and one other... (the other lasted 4)
  15. Problem with it being serious, is that you'll probly only have 4 different people viewing it, and it won't be very popular. (and considering it being about WWI instead of WWII, it probly won't be too popular anyways)
  16. Preparing to slice up some more custom MtG cards. I think I have enough to use them successfully in a mixed deck, but I'm not positive. I'll probly have to actually use them in a test game to see if they work well.
  17. My last dream, somewhat similar in context to Wolfenstein The New Order, but not quite... Instead of it being 'historical', it was modern times. I wasn't a primary combatant, I wasn't frozen in my mind for years, and they weren't Nazis. Ok, so the dream begins as I wake up in a collapsed building (much concrete) and notice that it's collapsing at that moment. There is some random dude that appears to have been caring for me, who is gathering as many supplies as he can. I notice my gun in a makeshift holster with spare magazines next to the cot I'm laying on, so I grab it, grab some pants and a shirt from a pile of clothes, and start getting dressed. As I'm dressing, he looks over and is startled by the fact that not only am I conscious, but am calm, collected, and preparing for departure. We talk for a few moments while I dress, and I come to find out that some crazed super genius has used the world's drones, and many robots to effectively destroy most governments around the world, and I was apparently hit by some sort of experimental EMP weapon designed to kill people as well as computers. It had been almost 8 months since I was hit. It apparently also affected some memory, since I couldn't remember ever going to the city I was in. As we left the building, enemy troops and a single enemy robot, (two legged, 4x M2 machine guns for arms, about 16 feet tall) were passing by, so we took a back route between another destroyed building, and a still standing wall. (the passage was about 10 feet wide, and the wall about 14 foot tall, and 1 foot thick) Passing down that another enemy robot breaks through the wall less than 3 feet in front of me, and the guy that was with me retreated back to the building. (I was about 15 feet down the path, and he was just barely leaving the building) I drop and roll to be as close to the wall as possible, and as invisible as possible. As I'm looking up, this one dude that looks like Deathshead from TNO, except no scarring or wrinkles, is walking past with the patrol. He notices me, but not that I'm alive. As he mistakes me for being a part of the resistance, he leaves the robot and a half dozen troops as guards, "just in case the rebels come back", and then leaves with a half dozen troops. After a few minutes, the resistance does attack, drawing the troops out, but merely training the focus of the robot away from me. I use the distraction to get up, and inspect the rear of the robot. I notice it has a partially exposed wiring harness, which would still be immune to small arms fire, but which I can rip out by hand, so I do. The robot collapses, and a few seconds later the resistance team comes around the corner. They ask me where the guy that was caring for me went, and he comes out of the building, I tell them what happened. Turns out the dude that looked like the youthful Deathshead is the guy in charge, the one they are trying to kill. I point them in the direction he went, and told them I could get my caregiver to the nearest safe location, and that we didn't need an escort, as I still had my sidearm. They wish us luck as they take off after the enemy commander, and we start heading to a different safehouse about a mile away. Then I woke up. Which sucks, because it was making for an awesome story.
  18. I’m Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite Ctrl+V thread in the Accursed Farms forum. (and who says you can't post a void?)
  19. I wouldn't. That's just me. (and you do realize that after about a month, that replicator could make a Death Star, and then another, and another, etc. don't you?) If mental prowess was suddenly as revered as physical prowess currently is, and physical prowess as reviled as mental? (Ew, he's a jock, you don't want to go out with him... Oooh, look at that nerd, he's got straight A's, now that's a catch!)
  20. 2205 - A mass exodus to the nearest black hole for no apparent reason depletes the universe's supply of idiots, marketing departments everywhere mourn their passing.
  21. As long as it was a cool theme, constantly enter and leave rooms. (I'm thinking the Trollololol song by Eduard Khil) If computers could only be accessed and controlled using console controllers?
  22. Lazy... Since I did a Vblog, made a bunch of MtG cards, and did the dishes, I feel like my productivity for the day is spent.
  23. You know, I think that might be why we're all part of this site, despite the slow updates from Ross...
