Base instincts are survival instincts. It's possible that because over time our species has become a species that survives through our society, therefore it's needed to develop instincts different to others in the animal kingdom ( I haven't studied this, it's just a hypothesis ). Just thought I'd add my opinion to the discussion

As long as it's legal and consensual... Does there even have to be an age gap? According to Fujin it's better that a 18 year old have sex with a 13 year old child ( that hasn't emotionally matured yet ) and cause him/her psychological damage for the rest of his/her life, than it is for two consensual adults of a mature age to have sex. I don't understand that reasoning at all.
