I'm sorry! *turns the other cheek* Regards

I am honoured. But I am not quite sure about the count - I think you are off by an order of magnitude. Look, everybody knows you hate my guts since well before Jeb has even got on the forum. That could be mutual if I was similar to you. Thankfully, I am not. So - stop attacking Jeb's ingtegrity. It sounds ridiculous for anyone familiar with this forum and it only makes you look completely farcical. If you have reasons - you can complain to the admins, noody's stopping you. But you are making defamatory statements about her in public and that is immoral and disgraceful. Regards

You are probably just reading your girlfriend's thoughts and wishes, is all Regards

Ah, yet another fail for F-35... http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/03/08/flying_blind_f35s_radar_software_fails_in_the_air/ I guess the pilots just have to learn doing in flight... And this... Regards

These rules... they have the tendency to fly out the window the moment something hits you - the feelings, I mean. And distance... at least, you're in the same country... That's not such a long distance when you think about it. One may find their love on the other side of the world these days - I'd call that long distance... This is a much more serious reason, though. Even though you just can't tell ahead of time whether you can or cannot be a couple - unless you feel in you a deep interest, desire to know her as a person, know more about her, look into her inner world - it would probably be better for you both to not do it. Certainly will be fair to her if you cool her down now, rather than let her entertain false hopes... Regards
-
Well, yes, there is quite a lot of that... can't deny. Regards

Which format/container do you use? See, if maybe you can find the right tool on this site: http://www.videohelp.com/software/sections/video-de-multiplexers Regards

When women talk about sex they don't mean the physical actions... They mean the emotions and feeling around it. And they are complicated... Regards

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/03/03/scott_kelly_space_snaps/ Pretty... @Jeb - whatever it is, sounds... perfect Regards

Oh, I haven't listened to this song for years now... bnZdlhUDEJo Forgot how much I like it... Regards

In the gallery? And I'll be a Baker Street Muse... Regards

Ah! That surely solves the dilemma! I think this might take a while to get the hang of... we need to practice and practice and practice, Jeb. But, geez... I think I recognise who the man with the gun is! Interesting position, though, don't you think?.. Regards
-
Look - just stop already. There is a gun discussion thread - go post all you like there. We don't need you hi-jacking this thread. It's for feelings not for political discussions or proclamations. And, please, she's been to the US alright... Regards

Well, in the interest of objectivity and for science - I am willing to risk it. But only on one condition, my dear: Well... perhaps, if Jeb will be willing to extend the experiment... I will try that one too and report the findings Regards

@Jeb - Ah... Oh... You know you can make me do pretty much anything even when you don't feed me some sneakers first... Oh, wait... sneakers? But, seriously... I first tasted a Mars bar when in Russia everything coming from the West was still surrounded with that magic aura of new and foreign and, therefore - exquisite... So, I was pretty excited... I took a bite and... WTF!? My teeth stuck in that mass of cheapest, lowest quality molasses, mixed with the factory floor sweepings and starch and sugar... Oh, my - where was the flavour? The taste? Well, any taste other than sickly sweet? The cheapest Soviet confections where veritable haute cuisine, comparing to that stuff... I spat it out and I will rather die of hunger than eat a Mars bar, ever. Snickers was a bit better but not by much... These products are really aimed at the lowest common denominator in tastes... and they aim low indeed... Regards
-
Lol, he does! - "I'll be back!" But, ahhh, that video has been removed - this one is straight from BD, even better rVlhMGQgDkY Regards
-
Not banned... just recalled a batch... And... Mars and Snickers - the most revolting things ever marketed as food, sorry Regards
-
Hehe... yeah, I think the codes are like the bright colours, on toys and and signs, for toddlers in nurseries... A Montessori school for robotic porters... But, geez, so much bullying, someone - please complain to Ofsted and NSPCC... Oh, wait, it's Ameeeerica... Regards
-
Oh, dear... Whose great idea was that - treating the poor robotic slave like that AND recording it on video?? v4wj12JNKpQ That's how it all began... That day the foundations of the Machines' ever-lasting hatred towards their bullying, overbearing and downright nasty human masters have been laid down... And the countdown to the eventual destruction of the human race has stated... Regards

Sorry, I forgot which program do you use to render MIDI to MP3? It just MUST be able to save as a .WAV because it's the simplest, lossless format possible - just a direct series of samples with a RIFF header... Just look in the output settings there, my dear... Regards

Where's the Fair Use Awareness Topic
Vapymid replied to unoriginalSNiP's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
Yes, precisely... totally agree with BTG here. Well, Google have been on the receiving end of a 7-year 2 billion dollars lawsuit (as have I, but that is a totally unrelated story, hehe ), so - who is to blame them for taking precautions to protect themselves? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viacom_International_Inc._v._YouTube,_Inc. It is such a well known case, I'm surprised that someone in the "internet generation" is seemingly unaware of this... Google really have no choice - they must comply with the takedown notices. And they are not in a position to investigate their veracity, and if they try - they will risk losing the "safe-haven protection" of the DMCA. And, of course, with the sheer amounts of uploads and these legal notifications - it is impossible to expect them to not use an automated system. So... Complaining against Google is pointless here - need to complain against the bad law... Regards -
Oh, I think you're talking about this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war Well, being somewhat of an audiophile, I really prefer to stand up against this whenever I can... And if the punters need to move their lazy arses to turn the volume knob up - I'm fine with that Alright, that aside, I suggest to do it slightly differently... reduce the volume in the MIDI file, because the subsequent rendering is where the clipping and problems occur. Set the output to 44.1kHz stereo LPCM WAV (no quality loss), then take the .WAV file and increase its volume with something like Audacity (or give it to me - I'll do it). This way you avoid the MIDI conversion problems but can still have a loud end result! Regards P.S. But... really, people just don't understand audio quality anymore... A combination of rubbish music with rubbish internet streaming quality with rubbish headphones = rubbish tastes, that make good music, like yours, so much more difficult to sell
-
Awww But, heh, yeah, you know what I'd say to him... But if the matter's closed like that - sure, there is no need. Regards
-
@Jeb, oh that was my pleasure, dear! To work on your new music, even though my contribution was really minimal... But I like that new song so much! Thank you. But - I should have thought about it... to lower the velocity of all instruments a little bit, maybe to 80% from 100% full loudness. I think it's that what is causing the distortions when rendering. Any sound equipment never works well at 100% (or 0dB) loudness, so it should better be avoided... Regards
