I haven't picked up a book in far, far too long, and I feel really bad about it. However, I am half way through "Led Zeppelin: When Giants Walked The Earth" by Mick Wall. I also have "Freakonomics" by Levitt and Dubner lined up for reading too - I read the follow-up "SuperFreakonomics" and loved it. Also currently on my shelf (unread) are "The Man Who Couldn't Stop" by David Adam and "Punk" by Collgrave & Sullivan, along with "V For Vendetta" by Alan Moore. Ones I have already read through are "Nineteen Eighty-Four" and "1001 Ridiculous Ways To Die" by David Southwell. Additionally, "Happy Returns: Impressions of Steven Wilson's Hand. Cannot. Erase. Doing a whole lotta forum catchup.

Pretty neutral. I went to the observation day on Friday, and managed to bail on it in a friendly and professional manner. That job was definitely not for me. I finished the day in the studio with the band - recorded two new songs! Took some footage of it too - we got some videos in the works.

I lost my voice a few weeks back, through pushing it too hard while having a clogged throat from the end of a cold. Did a gig and I tried a deep "Oi!" and I felt my vocal chords slap against each other. We had another gig the next day and I couldn't sing, which was a problem as I'm the main backup singer in the band. I'm all good now, but fuck if I'm ever risking that again.

I'm possibly 5'10? haven't been measured for a good long time. I currently feel like I couldn't have sex without developing an emotional connection. Depending on future experiences, this may change, but for now I intend my next sexual encounter to be part of an extended emotional bond. I was recently propositioned expressly for satisfying lust, which I had to decline because again, that's not currently what I want it for.

It turned out to be a timeout, of course, as I went through it all again, but copied the text to notepad. *Click*. Same result. So a quick paste, and everything was ok. I'm all good now, but it sucks that it wouldn't allow any back navigation. Shitey systems, man.

Working through a job application form. click 'Next'. Receive an error. Cannot navigate back. Have to start again. Paragraphs of thought-out text lost and irrecoverable. Excuse me while I go and commit an atrocity.

Increased nervousness. So I went to the interview, and it turned out alright. I got a callback, and I'm doing an observation day on Friday, from 8am to 6pm. But I've come to the conclusion that I don't want this job. I can see myself being ground down and severely stressed out from what the job entails.

Kinda sunny mixed with light cloud right now, but likely pretty chilly. Springtime in Newcastle's not too bad, but you can't really rely on British weather to do what you want!

Nervous. Got a job interview tomorrow, which I was excited about, but my mate said he'd done the same intervew a while back, and the job is not what I thought it was, and advised against accepting an offer. This is my first proper job interview too, so while it's great experience, christ I hope I don't come off as a blithering idiot.
