Your favorite game villain?

Recommended Posts

And for the record, yelling out Spoilers!!! is not exactly helping. It is like yelling "Sam Fisher!! I'm your biggest fan!!" while he is on a mission hiding in shadows, and all the bad guys turn around as a result and open fire. That one word lacked all context and was therefore not a spoiler until you announced it and as a result ruined the surprise for me at the very least. Not that I am the least bit excited about Portal 2, so I'm not crying a river. I might pick it up for a few quid.

Both points have merit I guess. And you really should play Portal 2, it's a good game.

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

WTH it didn't lack all context, we're in a thread called "Your favorite game villain" and in the trailers it shows Wheatley as being your friend. Just because your not following Portal 2 doesn't mean I'm not and I am really hyped for it, I haven't yet bought the game either so I'm a bit pissed that the plot twist is now ruined for me.

Mr. X from Streets of Rage.

Picture20.png

Not because he actually scared me or was well developed. He was a stupid generic boss. :|

He's my "favorite" villian because I COULD NEVER BEAT HIM! So many rage quits were caused by him!

Golbez (Final Fantasy 4) - He's on your ass the entire game, taunting you, manipulative, and more. sure his backstory is an overused cliche, but it's (easily) overlooked with his badassiery.

I think Kerrigan is the hottest vileness.

Who leads the Protoss in starcraft 2?

Depends if you're talking about the regular Protoss or the Dark Templars.

Dark Templars-Zeratul

Regular Protoss- Executor Silendis

Mental from serious Sam has never been seen has a strange voice that you need subtitles for it and has not died once

And when he gets to heaven,

To saint Peter he will tell;

One more soldier reporting, sir.

I've served my time in Hell!

The Cycloid Emperor from Duke Nukem Forever. In the first battle he's very weak and can be taken easily, but I really had to fight to get him in the final battle. A very memorable villain, mostly because of all the stuff you get to do to him once you have him down.

It's Walton, not Walter. And did you know he was voiced by Tom Hall, who used to work at id Software in the early days? He was also the creator of Commander Keen, an early mascot for Apogee.

Ironic, I used to call him Walton Simmons by accident as well.

I don't think I will ever get his name right.

Yep, Tom Hall indeed, and his voice is amazing and I would buy a CD of just him talking.

But I actually felt pretty bad when he ordered the troops on me at the NSF Warehouse.

That really says something about the game's top of the line writing.

Yeah, it does, though the voice acting ranges from incredible to incredibly cheesy.
