Oh, she got you good. There's always a fine line with these sorts of things. Here's a basic guidline of how to manage your deviant fandom.

 

DO:

Be proud of your choices

 

Explain to others that it's absolutely wrong for them to resent you just because you enjoy something

 

Practice what you preach and respect others' choices.

 

Ask others to give it a try.

 

DON'T:

Bother people because they don't want to "give it a try"

 

Resent those who resent you. Merely explain how they are wrong for their opinions of you and leave it at that.
