"Symphonic?" "So called classical?" I love me my Tchaikovsky, my Dvorak, my Beethoven. And what of chamber music? Piano music? Duets? Oh, the underrepresentation.

And choosing between that and my Coltrane and Parker and Cannonball and Shorter..

Rooooooooock!!!!!!!!!

Classic rock, more so.

None of this annoying, angsty modern rock.

I mean stuff like Styx, Rush, Boston, Queen. The Beatles even.

Stuff you can actually listen to.

Also, I like comedy. Weird Al, Tom Lehrer, that sorta thing.

My tastes have been shifting away, though...

On the other hand, I have memorized the Elements song, so I do still enjoy it...

I HAVE to blow everything up! It's the only way to prove I'm not CRAZY!

I like Rock the most. Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Guns'N Roses, AC/DC, Linkink Park, Iron Maiden.

But 50's music are good like Sinatra or Sandy Nelson. I like electronic game soundtrack like Half Llife or Hitman, so its really hard for me, to pick one favourite genre.

Classic music isn't bad either. I like Grieg and Tchaikowsky. Here's one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrIYT-MrVaI - the best classic ever!

Changed it to "Symphonic/Classical". Anyway, I love classical music too, but I have a feeling it's more of a niche genre.

I agree classic rock is the best. I personally love Dire Straits and early prog rock like Alan Parsons and Pink Floyd, but in general I am an electronic chick.

I guess most of my choices are bundled into the Post-hardcore/screamo genre but my variety is too wide. haha

My vote goes to Rock, since the better majority of my collection falls under that category (approx. 6,000 songs, roughly half of my entirety) but I listen to a lot of electronic and instrumental music (classical, movie scores, big band music, the like).

The glass is never half empty because I drink out of the carton.

I love both rock and electronic music to be honest, and I love it when the two genres are combined into electro-rock or industrial rock.

Oh my god yes. It's like having an eargasm for 3 to 5 minutes on average.

Totally. Just listen to stuff like Apoptygma Berzerk, Shiny Toy Guns, Dope Stars or The Killers.

The group Electronic also has a kind of rock/electronic mix, especially their final album Twisted Tenderness.

Same, except I've only got about 3000...

I listen to lots of other genres, including classical, big band, the rare good rap song, some country, OSTs, comedy, death metal, etc. Never pop, mainstream, or R&B.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

Alternative Rock: Radiohead is my favorite English-speaking band.
