I am reviving this thread because of something I never heard about when it happened, and just found out about recently... Prolonged heat stress from flying. Sounds an awful lot like saying "if we ever go to war and need to run this plane like any other plane we've ever fielded, it'll lose its main engine". Seriously, prolonged stressful flying kills this thing's engine? Isn't that what combat flight IS?

They are nowhere near difficult... Remarkably easy, especially on anything below the hardest difficulty. (you just have to be a good planner, and plan for the missions before you do them) More often than not, all day... Bear in mind that a 40 hour week means 8 hours per day for 5 days, and I usually get 8-10 hours of empty per day for 6 days, then another 4-6 in the evening on 3-4 days of the week.

Eh, only a few dozen fight at any given time, and they usually don't come out to play with my fingers. That leaves several million that sit quietly and do nothing.

Yes and yes. (the 'lost levels' were released long before SMB3 was) All of them? Yes, all of them. When unemployed, and have already applied everywhere, you don't have anything else to do except play games. Usually somewhere between 40 and 80 hours a week.

Agreed. Obscure only because it was essentially a Doom clone (including shaderless graphics) released in 2007... Before people realized just how much fun they had with those types of games. (it'd probly get great reviews if it had 'modern' graphics)
