  1. You do know that's a normal released AAA game right?
  2. Assdickballs.
  3. Getting ready to take a shower, then go test my food card to see if it still works.
  4. Bag of mostly water?
  5. Looks like you have a full Beta team on your hands...
  6. It does, but who cares... It was fun to confuse you for a little while.
  7. I'm not cooperating with myself!
  8. Trying to stay awake longer so I'm not getting up at 3 AM like I did last night.
  9. Sounds like fun... Now I have to go look it up. Actually, that mod didn't even have a first release until 2010, but who cares... It's a good mod for a good game.
  10. On the contrary, it could very much be a LOT more in the wrong, but it isn't.
  11. It wouldn't be a single DVD, it would be a set of several DVDs.
  12. *Later that night, a conspicuously plain, unmarked taco truck followed BTGBullseye home, which he only eluded thanks to a convenient alleyway and a timely red light. He was heaving for air as he burst into his apartment, yanking the blinds shut and huddling against the door. All night long, he stole wild eyed glances outside, heart jumping at every sound and imagination plagued by the thought of his pursuers. And the moments in between, he pored over the disturbing revelations that guy in the internet had shared, questions forming in his head before he could pin them down with words. Why, oh why, he lamented, didn't he walk away when he had the chance? Only one thing was certain: The Taco Conspiracy went straight to the top...* Or something. I hate spy novels. Well, it's an interesting start, but the wrong character choice. (I would've probly caused the tailing car to crash, and then gone and inspected the vehicle and it's occupants for interesting stuff under the guise of "making sure everyone's all right")
  13. Freshly lubed laptop cooler fans running.
  14. Trying to decide what I should eat, and whether I should shower first.
  15. What do you do with a dead geologists? Barium.
  16. BLOOD!
  17. Nice, sounds like fun to play if you get finished with it.
  18. Yeah, we're actually looking for a way to utilize consumer-grade electronics in our drone systems, since it's costs about 1/100th what hadrened electronics cost, and hardened still degrade way too fast for the uses intended. Also, it's more difficult for a drone to manufacture hardened components than it is to manufacture consumer-grade components. (remember, they are self-repairing) Right now, we're looking at a form of electromagnetic shielding, (high-strength electromagnetic field surrounding the drone) and EM hardening of the component casings. Problems we're having is dust accumulation on the drone, and ways to prevent it. We might just have a cleaner drone design, or find some way to do something like a reverse polarity shield to repel the dust. (the dust is typically comprised of magnetized iron ore particles from the surface of the asteroids being mined)
  19. 60 FPS only seems to work in the HTML5 player on my copy of Firefox 35.0b. Downside is it only presents at 720p max in HTML5. (doesn't affect FM though)
  20. Well, I can say that the HD files on YouTube are MP4 (AVC, format profile [email protected]) in the YUV 4:2:0 colorspace. (that's the files irrespective of the HTML5 or Flash presentation) Now that's not saying they don't transcode for different presenters, but those are the only HD files present. (HD = anything 480p or higher, and most 360p)
  21. Ok, so a few more specifics on this 'greater autonomy' thing you keep saying... Please. The 'respect for language rights', how do you propose to make that work? It doesn't even work in the USA, and we've been trying for centuries.
  22. If they would even bother trying, they probly could. As it is, they just don't have the funding to be able to do more than they currently are, and the people in charge don't want them working on it. It's a very interesting aspect of the bureaucracy controlling a scientific endeavor... They tend to make sure they don't go anywhere near anything that could affect life on Earth in any way.
  23. Of course we promise not to tell... *prepares to write it down, paraphrased*
  24. Trying to figure out why I have such a massive upload of data when I have a static IP, and almost none comparatively when I'm on DHCP.
