  1. So you're completely unwilling to hear any point of view that opposes your own, and consider it... Got it. Good luck ranting to yourself.
  2. First off, it is the same as murder to a LOT of people... Mainly because it is ending the life of a sapient being just for convenience sake. There's a reason why when someone murders a pregnant woman, they are treated to two counts of murder. Second, if that's the wording in the bill (remember, I mentioned that I have not read them) then the bill is moronic. Miscarriages have nothing whatsoever to do with abortion. Third, you just got done talking about the morality of it, and then try to claim you aren't talking about its morality... Pick one and stick to it, don't be a liar. Fourth, "bodily autonomy" is not stripped from someone just because you won't let them legally murder someone. With a rare few exceptions, that person chose to make that life, and they should have to live with the consequences of that decision. Lastly, where did this "worst culture of excess on the planet" stuff come from, and what has it to do with the abortion stuff?
  3. Yes, but I charge a fee for my services... You get $0.25. What's your wattage?
  4. The thing is, abortion is literally killing a person. Just because they haven't left the womb, doesn't make them any less a person. I am unfamiliar with the exact wording of the bills you're referencing, but giving up a baby for adoption is not a difficult process. (it's answering a few questions when delivering the baby) There are also numerous resources to assist with the pregnancy itself, so that shouldn't be an issue either.
  5. Ok, so... Final build specs of the system, which I am using right now... Monitor: MSI Optix MAG241C - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824475017 - $200 Case: Antec P5 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129239 - $60 PSU: Rosewill CAPSTONE 750M - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182264 - $75 Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157868 - $90 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113480 - $140 RAM: G.SKILL Flare X (for AMD) 16GB DDR4-3200 16-18-18-38 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232767 - $90 NVMe: HP EX900 1TB - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820326786 - $120 I think I won the silicon lottery with this CPU... It's benchmarking about 5% higher than it should without overclocking. It's also housing the second best Vega 11 ever benchmarked by any decent benchmarking site I can find. (and that appears to be exclusively because I'm not using 3200 ram with 14-14-14 timings) Also, this is exclusively using the stock cooler, not an aftermarket. Here's my benchmark. (the second one, from after I fixed some RAM timing issues) https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/17008147 [EDIT] I've reduced the voltage and overclocking of the Vega 11 until I can get an aftermarket cooler... Seems after about 30 minutes of gaming, it overheats and crashes the system. Even with my reduced settings, I still have to take the side panel off to keep it cool.
  6. Level 42. What's the deal?
  7. Yes. Am I weird for not understanding anything Im_CIA said in response to my post?
  8. I'm getting depressed and bored waiting for my paycheck so I can get the rest of my PC... Only 5 more days.
  9. Would be nice to tell an AI what I want in a game, and 3 weeks later the game is finished for me with no other human input.
  10. I'm still going on Chrome with no issues... Firefox lost me when they changed the UI, and then started making addons stop working if they weren't designed for the newest version.
  11. It was a somewhat faster paced version of Mechwarrior Online, with smaller maps, almost no customization, and everything was effectively locked behind microtransactions. Oh, and most of the purchased stuff was still time limited. (would go away in a day/week/month) It also liked to put all the free players on one team, and all the paying players on the other, so the paying people always won. (it was completely pay2win)

  14. I just bought 3 of the 7 pieces for my new PC... Case, (Antec P5) PSU, (Rosewill Capstone 750w) and a nice mid-grade NVMe drive. (1TB HP EX900) I also have received my monitor, an MSI Optix MAG241C.
  15. OpenRA - Red Alert
  16. At 1:09 the video consistently errors out on Youtube. If skipped to 1:19 it plays just fine so far. Also happens at 9:32, resuming at 9:40.
  17. Fun!
  18. How are you spending the day?
  19. Currently saving to build myself a new gaming system. Will be buying the monitor tomorrow. (monitor first because it'll be less stressful on my eyes than the cheap laptop display I'm using now, despite it being complete overkill for what my laptop can do for gaming) Monitor: MSI Optix MAG241C - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824475017 - $204 ($194 after $10 rebate) Case: Antec Performance Series P5 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129239 - $60 Additional Case Fans: Fractal Design Venturi HP - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835352022 - $13 x 3 PSU: Rosewill Glacier Series 700W - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182341 - $60 Motherboard: GIGABYTE B450M DS3H - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813145083 - $68 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113480 - $150 RAM: G.SKILL Sniper X 32GB DDR4 3200 16-18-18-38 - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232711 - $190 NVMe: ADATA XPG SX6000 Lite 512GB - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820246011 - $70 GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 Ti - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814932079 - $1150 (to be purchased a couple of months after the rest of the system) Under $850 for the initial system, and under $2000 for the final build. The initial system is about 5x better than the 7 year old laptop I'm using now, and will definitely hold me over until I can get the RTX. At that point, I will be hard pressed to find a game that will ever drop below 60FPS at any settings. [EDIT] Added the NVMe drive. It isn't mandatory, but save me a LOT of time and effort to have, plus it's worth the price for the extra performance over what I was going to use. (a Mushkin Enhanced ECO2 512GB SSD)
  20. Which one, the original introverted curmudgeon, or the misread version?
  21. Did someone say trains?
  22. I expect that would be fairly hellish as well.
  23. Anxiety.
  24. Probably not. Depends on the why. Am I weird for feeling massively stressed because I have to wait 1 more day to buy my new monitor, and a couple weeks for the rest of my new PC?
