Legend of Grimrock, one of the best games this year for me.

TB often speaks on things and is completely wrong, many MMOs come out which are nothing like WoW but still fail. For an MMO to be as popular as WoW it has to appeal to a huge audience, think Minecraft, COD etc. None of them are particularly special and all of them blatantly copy what has come before.

They were developing it to compete with an Apple product and Gabe doesn't want it to be a closed platform so I call bullshit.

The conversations with the scientist were absolutely hilarious, best part of the episode for me.

And it's being made on the Hero engine, a.k.a the SWTOR engine. Placing bets that it'll be another "WoW killer".

It was similar sure, but it is also a game in the same series so they cant just turn it into something completely different. Cod hasnt changed at all since cod 4, if they are willing to change it up just a little bit, then that is just a good thing. They changed it for sure, but they didn't take risks.

Laughing so hard, was lurking the Escapist forums when I saw a thread titled "ARMA III screnshots", it was full of "2/10 shitty indie graphics game" comments, until it was revealed that it was a real life photo with some lens flare added in Photoshop. Made my day.

What are you even talking about. I said it should look better as it is the most profitable game in the industry, they have no excuse at all not to update the engine. The last 4 CODs may as well have been expansion packs for MW for all the difference there has been. BFBC2 BF3 And then COD: MW COD: BlOps MW3 They're just lazy, no two ways about it. Almost all the animations are the same, no graphics updates. They use 8-bit 2D explosions for God's sake.

So if he's looking for something cheap maybe he shouldn't spend loads of money paying for deadweight hardware when he could get a laptop with cheaper hardware and equal GPU that would actually be useful and run games just as well? Seriously. Future proofing for the 15 years, probably longer because of the console toys.
