  1. I've actually been meaning to buy the first three seasons of digimon on DVD. They're the only ones I really liked, the rest got weird after that. ESPECIALLY SEASON 4 that was such an odd direction to go in.
  2. Stop eating your Dad... Oh thank goodness someone said it before me.
  3. Beat Bioshock today and fiddled with Stranger's Wrath HD to see if I could configure the controls for my controller.
  4. Been playing the Wallace and Gromit game lately. Pretty fun, better than the BTTF game I just finished in terms of gameplay mechanics.
  5. It's finally here! What EQG probably should've been like. yEQ_6geAKwE
  6. So this week I finally bought a little adapter that would convert my spare USB 2.0 header on my motherboard into two USB 2.0 A female slots. It freed up two ports on the motherboard (kinda) because now I can plug my bluetooth adapter and logitech wireless adapter internally and not worry about them. A cool little thing, except it's quite bulky, and when I got it I realized it was covering/blocking the tail end of my bottom PCI-E slot on the board because it's tall and the USB 2.0 header is just in that inconvenient spot. Anyway, since that lane is only wired for 4x speeds anyway, I decided to move my Wifi card down to that slot, freeing up the top PCI-E 1x slot for a sound card or a tuner card in the future. On another note, anyone here have any ideas for useful PCI (regular, not express) cards? I have a legacy connector on my board and am trying to figure out what to do with it.
  7. Bought System Shock 2, Strike Suit Zero, and Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures from the GOG sale. I wish GOG had more games that I actually play, because I want to give them more business lol.
  8. Wrapped up the Telltale BTTF series tonight with Outtatime. The story has been interesting, but I'm going to refrain from looking at it too much because of the glaring problems with the plot at multiple points in the game. IMO, Citizen Brown was the best episode of the bunch.
  9. I'm in the middle of a job transition, fucking finally. Not much else going on aside from college, which doesn't feel any less pointless than it did last year.
  10. Half-Life 1 in the late 90s.
  11. Are they African Doves or those crazy doves that can breath sharks that ride small gators at people?
  12. So the Xboner: Revenge of the Xcock has dropped some of its DRM restrictions: http://techcrunch.com/2013/06/19/microsoft-heeds-gamer-feedback-dumps-xbox-one-drm-restrictions/
  13. Beat Episode 3 of the Back to the Future Game yesterday. Going on to episode 4 later tonight.
  14. I hate urine tests. I had to go in for a drug test today for a new job, and I knew it was going to be a urine test, but I'm also sorely aware of my shy bladder issues where it won't always work on its own. So, to combat that, I ate watermelon, and drank water and milk for breakfast to prevent my bladder from crying chicken. I get to the place where I'm supposed to test, and I'm feeling a slight urge to pee that's getting worse and worse by the minute. Bear in mind, I scheduled an appointment and walked in 10 minutes before that, but I ended up waiting an additional half-hour for the fucking test to start and I'm just dying in the waiting room because of a full bladder. Luckily, I got the test over with without a hitch. But what the hell is up with companies using ONLY urine tests? Fuck, I'd rather them cut off a chunk of my hair and test that for the same drugs, because at least that's always there and I don't need to drown my bladder to get it to work under pressure.
  15. It'll actually be available on both the XboneCockRocket and the PS4. So yeah, I can't imagine you'll be playing it at all. Personally, I'm a fan of the older Final Fantasy titles, namely 6 and 9, and really enjoyed 12. Other than that, I can't say I'm a fan of them. That being said, aside from the cameo's of characters from those games (which, thinking upon it now, aren't all that well-done imho), the Kingdom Hearts games don't feel like Final Fantasy games at all.
  16. Granted, but the next chapter is always a giant orgy more foul than the last and you can't stop reading. I wish people weren't so full of themselves.
  17. We had a music festival here a few weeks back, but I couldn't make it because it sells out quickly and I work the days it takes place on.
  18. Angry Joe's Interview with Major Nelson: 6RtSGFryKwo That guy got to be a major dick at the end there. I can't help but feel that condescending attitude from where he grabs the mic as his general feelings toward the gamers and potential buyers who have the same thoughts and criticisms. Basically, he doesn't think we don't know what we're talking about and our opinions are invalid. If they didn't provide this infrastructure in the first place, we wouldn't be discussing the DRM issues at all, which Major Nelson is desperately trying to claim the other features of the console outweigh it. They do not. Granted they aren't as bad as Steam (no family-share ATM, I hope that changes), they're still worse than the WiiU and PS4.
  19. Wasn't xcock the name of a porno x-men movie, though? Do you have something you need to tell us, Whooves? We're here to help you help us help you help your family help us help you help the world help you.
  20. Granted, but because no one has any fucking clue what you said, you'll never know how magic touched your life. I wish I had an xbone cannon. I've said the word over 450 times and need some constructive way to get rid of these things.
  21. Anthony Hopkins, one of the few actors who could get me to watch anything as long as he has a role in it. Beef or pork?
  22. Granted, but it's a shower of piss and shit from a person with dietary problems. I wish the Xbox One would be officially named the Xbone.
  23. npjBHFb0fZM So, it's finally happened. Kingdom Hearts 3 got it's official announcement at E3 2013 and is in development for the PS4 and Xbone. While we don't have much to go on, I figure it's not too early to start discussing the game and general feelings toward it, and more so as we learn more about it. Personally, after playing Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts has kind of just lost that magic it had when I first played it on the PS2. Maybe it's because I'm older or just got tired of waiting for the third game, but either way I'm not excited enough about KH3 to consider buying a PS4 for it. If it came out on the WiiU or the PC, I'd consider picking it up on a sale just to see how it turns out. That all being said, I love the idea that the series is based on and would love to see it applied to other universes aside from Disney in a similar way (so not in the same Smash Bros. or PS-All-Stars, aka PS-Clusterfuck fashion). There are some games only in Japan and a Zoids game for the GBA that did the same thing very well and made the story fun to go through, but they're all mech-based games and thus suffer from a limited audience. NIS did a game like this, too, called Cross Edge, but it had a terrible combat style that I didn't quite recognize as being similar to the games it brought together. Any thoughts/impressions so far?
  24. I'm sure there are, and they have a right to. Some people don't really mind the new policies being enforced by the Xbone, and that's fine (I'm sure these people are closet-Apple fans because Microsoft's policies are moving closer to Apple's in some respects). Thinking about it, it's funny to be a PC gamer and slamming the Xbone for not allowing easy transference or sale of games due to DRM standards. But in another way, that's been a feature for years separating the PC gaming scene from the console scene. Or, alternatively, maybe Microsoft has an entire department that does nothing but go on forums to defend their products. Call of Duty Dog comes to mind: Yd2LOJd6X6w
