Considering a large portion of the country is melting down over many of the same arguments being made in this thread, I figured I'd put this here as a statement regarding much of this.

I have a very similar automatic response to anime as Ross. There are extremely few that I can get into past the first 5 minutes, and I usually have to be very high to do so. (and that doesn't mean watching it while sitting on the roof) The first half of the gameplay (minus the restrictive saves) looks quite interesting and fun, but like a lot of anime storylines, it went rapidly downhill when it came to telling the final part of the story. (at least in my opinion, based on what I read of popular and recommended anime storylines)

Runs perfectly fine (60FPS minimums) at maximum settings 1440p, apart from also needing to use FSR, on my less than optimal PC. CPU: 5800X GPU: 5700XT RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MT/s The "bad optimizations" always sound like the person wants to run a 4k60 youtube video on a second monitor while also playing the game at 240FPS minimums on an 8k monitor while also rendering 3d models in the "background", and are upset they can't.
