  1. I actually do need them for my right eye, but not seriously... (20/25 that just gets worse the further out you go) Glasses, but only if they look decent, and don't have any lens distortion. Super gaming laptop, or mid-grade gaming desktop?
  2. It was an implied continuation of a question, not that this thread requires a question... (you really do need to better learn the English language) I need more time in the day...
  3. You're too obsessed with trying to find illogical ways for "proving" that I'm not smarter than you, including taking statements out of context, and not bothering to read the source material that you claim is false simply because it doesn't make you look smart.
  4. Actually I don't recommend off-site storage unless you don't have the ability to store it on-site. It's too easy to have someone steal information from off-site storage systems, or mess with them in ways that will further complicate your life if you ever use those backups.
  5. Yes it is.
  6. A welded ankle cuff chained to a 300lb steel triangular pyramid would work... Just keep the cutting torches and plasma cutters out of reach. Alcohol doesn't affect me in that way, and costs way too much money for me to consume the amounts necessary to do that on a daily basis...
  7. Because 99.9999% of the time people take things out of context when they try to disprove certain religions, (there is more to the context for the Catholic religion than just the bible for example, since it was a collection of books that at the time was the best selection for explaining the religion to people) and some who claim to be part of said religions also misinterpret in many ways the same writings. (example: al-Qaeda misinterpreting the Qur'an to justify murdering innocents) Why do people believe that context isn't important when dealing with religious writings and teachings?
  8. Dr. No was a decent 007 movie, but I preferred Goldfinger.
  9. Banned for playing games with the banhammer.
  10. If I had a yard that I could grow things in, I would... And Mulberry trees. Two of my favorite plants. Take it. I'd be a millionaire by age 8, and be able to make friends with my current friends anyways. If you could remake any one single body part on your own body in any way, but only once?
  11. I never could to begin with, so nothing changed. Granted, instead of following you everywhere, they go there just before you do... Every... Single... Time. I wish life was less realistic.
  12. Coffee flavored. On pizza, veggies or no?
  13. No, because I knew it had been going on from the start... (friends in low places) Remember when people didn't actively try to start shit for no reason other than to start shit?
  14. What am I "lying" about exactly? Your intentional misinterpretation of an obvious statement, or your unfounded assupmtion that I don't know as much about metallurgy and metal work as I do? There are pliers specifically designed for the work you're doing, and they won't scratch or mar the wire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Round-nose_pliers That's just one among many. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardened_steel Second sentence of the second paragraph. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annealing_%28metallurgy%29 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempering_%28metallurgy%29 There are a lot more, I could even start scanning in my metallurgy books if you need more proof. (if I can find where my parents hid them) Why would I follow your example? You're assuming things that are untrue as fact... Unless you have proof that the vast majority of metallurgical science is in fact false, please refrain from claiming to be smarter than several people who have decades of experience professionally working the same metal as you admittedly just started messing with as a hobby. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanization#Eventual_corrosion It still rusts, and since it's being designed as an "armor" is likely to encounter sweat on a frequent basis while wearing. (thereby accelerating the process) It is a good start however. There are clear enamel spray paints that would work well for a long-term solution, though you might want to try conditioning the metal instead. Conditioning involves applying a liberal coat of veggie oil to the metal, and putting it in an oven at 350 degrees for an hour or so, then wiping the excess oil off with a cloth. (same thing as seasoning, usually applied to cast iron cookware, but is useful for a number of different metals)
  15. I never said you have to believe it, you just have to quit being a dick by saying that others are lying. If you don't believe it, fine, ignore it, or prove that what is said is false.
  16. That's your choice, but if you do that in real life you won't get very far. There are many things that can't be backed up due to security reasons, but that doesn't mean they are false.
  17. STO... I play this game too much.
  18. Because no matter how much alcohol you drink, it can't increase your risk of cancer as much as smoking 1 "light" cigarette. Why do people generally hate on any religion they don't follow, and actively refuse to understand?
  19. Remember when we weren't being actively spied on by the government?
  20. Rug... My curtains are just fine the way they are. (non-existent) A glass of tea, or a cup of coffee?
  21. Actually, it's only 1 in 50 calls that's like that... We have really nice people as customers. (I know, weird right?) Granted, but you never get turned back on. I wish to not be tired ever again.
  22. Doesn't have a flashing avatar anymore.
  23. Yes? No? I guess the best answer would have to be "whichever happens I will accept". If you could do any 1 thing and get away with it?
  24. Banned for not doing it intentionally.
  25. 8/10 Needs capitalization on two words. ("on" and "better")
