What brand of CPU to you prefer AMD or Intel
BTGBullseye replied to DarkArchon's topic in Computer Hardware
I am probly the forum's resident computer guru... Intel all the way right now. AMD had a short bit there when they were competing with the Pentium 2/3 where they were better, but for modern chips Intel is the best. They are designed to overclock, and it shows. AMD chips are a bit cheaper however, and they have been leading the price-to-performance value chart for quite a while now. Try checking out this site to see what is good, and what is bad. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ -
China has enough planes and shipping to get over 10 million troops to our west coast all at once. They would have trouble from the civvies with guns, but relatively no one else. Take away our defense stuff, and they won't have nuclear retaliation to hold them back.

All of these people fighting over the hill when Applejack kept me from getting kicked, and none of them have even came close to the crest of the hill.

I'm changing from clothes into pajamas... Yes, I am transmuting myself into another form of sentient, self animating clothing.

Finding scientific journal articles....
BTGBullseye replied to Lord Sinister's topic in Free-For-All
The only ones I've ever come across were extremely unobtrusive, and never seem to show up on Google searches. Last time I tried, I ended up having to wade through a hundred pages of "the new Skynet" or "oh no, it could become the Borg" shit just to find one mediocre page with lots of broken links that after going through a chain of about 20 links, I finally found a decent paper on the subject. In short, good luck... You're gonna need it. -
Nothing, maybe a chug or two of Raspberry Tea.

If the moon were made of pizza instead of rock, everybody would go "What The Fuck?".

Or it could just be the problem that you paid about 6x the value of the hardware that you got...

I have ways around that, like saying in type "there's this guy looking over my shoulder reading this, so I'm going to start typing interesting stuff now" and so on... Part of why I advertise all of my digital piracy acts... They don't care if you're blatant, but if you're hiding it, they pay attention.

On that note, I hate rushing around... Slow is far better.

Banned because it isn't.
