I'd like to highlight Occult Crime Police which is short detective game which seems to be little inspired by Ace Attorney series.

Well, I'd say it does apply to many RPGs. Everything depends on how good battling system is and much do you need to grind. System in FFVII is pretty good, especially with different combinations of weapos, materia and character abilities, but it's also grindy which it why it feels more like an obstacle than fun at times.
