I wish Invisible War would work on my PC...

If you have the Steam version, it should work perfectly on Win7... (it does on mine)

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

I've only heard quite nasty things about IW.

ot: Payday 2

Well... the game isn't bad per se but most people compared it to the first game, and it doesn't hold a candle to it at all...

But on its own I wouldn't say it's bad.

I just can't for the life of me get it working on Windows 7...

Conflict: Desert Storm

I haven't played it since I was little back on the PS2. On the most frustrating mission where the helo gets shot down and you need to hold out.

Did you try any of these workarounds? http://greekgeekprick.blogspot.com/2015/02/workaround-for-deus-ex-invisible-war-on.html

The main problem seems to be the game itself. More specifically how it loads levels.

It seems to load levels as separate executables so the Steam overlay doesn't work and something intercepts the game every time it loads a level so it freezes for several minutes, sometimes freezing entirely. It just doesn't run stable enough to be fun for me. I've gotten it to work, yes, but it never worked WELL.

I have tried BOTH the Desktop Composition and Set Affinity trick but none of those have yielded successfull results for me. Mostly cause, man, the affinity thing just is HELL to do when you try to alt tab out of a black screen... and it didn't seem to make ANY difference for me.

ALl of the other solutions in that guide just seem like way too much of a chore for a game that is mediocre at best. I've concluded it's just not worth it.

Undertale as well. Up until it bluescreened my desktop. :( looks like I'm playing it on my laptop instead.

Well, you might want to check your GPU drivers, and switch to an older/newer/beta version to see if that works... If it isn't too much trouble anyways. Hope you don't abandon the game permanently.

I just came back to Dragon Age Origins (with a plethora of mods the likes of Improved Atmosphere), and It's still fantastic.
