I got it 6 months after release for $20 on sale at Walmart. Damaged box, so they dropped the price. I returned it 2 days later, and traded for a good one.

That part isn't HP. It's probly the processor overheating... Do you use a chilling pad for your laptop? (if not, that would be the first thing to try) Excellent chilling pad: Thermaltake Massive23 LX Notebook Cooler (I use one myself, drops temps by 20C at load)

Yeah, there are some hacks out for it... Kind of ruins it for the Hidden player when someone does 180° headshots.

Blackouts/brownouts only affect my external HDD, but since it's an eSATA when the power returns, it causes a Windows BSoD. Had 2 brownouts yesterday... Now I'm just sitting here preparing to do 2 worksheets for my welding class so I can get a B instead of a C.
