Minecraft with the PTGI (raytracing) shaders... On an entirely AMD system... Quite good for visuals, and the first few hours were without anything noticeably wrong, partly because I was really tired. After a little extra time I figured out the lanterns do not raytrace if they are attached to iron bars, and bonfires cause the blocks on which they reside to become the light emitters as well. (basically the same problem for all light sources) Also, it doesn't reflect the sun/moon for me for some reason. Overall, highly recommended to wait for a release version, then everyone with at least an RX 580 should use this pretty exclusively.

Ok, so I obtained the E9 version of the shader pack, and am running it in Minecraft now. (over 3 hours, and no glitches whatsoever) At maximum possible settings for everything, including a 512x texture pack, I average 50 FPS using an overclocked RX 5700 XT. At default settings for the shaders, I never drop below 60FPS. This is not far off from what an RTX 2070 Super will get at equivalent settings.

Final update. (I hope) https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/19569661 Replaced my GPU's thermal pads with Prolimatech PK-3 thermal paste. Took the temps down so far I was able to overclock it, and undervolt a lot less. Gained a lot of performance from the, which puts my GPU in the top 3% of 5700 XT GPUs. It's currently on par with the top-end of the overclocked RTX 2070 Super benchmarks. (on par with the RTX 2080's average, and the bottom end of the 2080 Ti benches)

Either the Caps Lock mod is on all the time, or thrust vectoring and an entire side covered in RCS thrusters can't maneuver as much as a gentle breeze does...

Just downloaded Overlord 2, and despite the decent game review coverage, I would like to see Ross's take on it. I doubt it'd work for a Game Dungeon though.

Interesting you should mention that, because none of those controls work like that for me for some reason, and this is on 4 different systems so far... That also doesn't address the thrust system, or the docking system, or any number of other things that are horrible for their controls relating to actually flying the ships.

If they improve the flight controls, then I'll consider it...

All they have to do is make it less "this magic thing happens because the writer decided that the universe works differently for this paragraph than any other time in the script", and more internally consistent with the established universe. (basically what we already know about our own universe, adding the force and FTL, and nothing radically different) Solo was actually a really good Star Wars movie IMO, and apart from the original trilogy, better than all but Rogue One.

Unfortunately they are not lasting online sources. They are direct chats with scientists working on the climate models, and I talk with them to provide them with a less conventional viewpoint so they can produce a more comprehensive model. None of the models are complete yet, so no online resources for it exist yet.

For the most part, I disagree with the cause being solely because of human actions, (what the majority of the media publicizes) but not entirely disconnected. From what I have seen and heard from actual scientists that study more than just human interactions with the environment, solar activity and other less easily quantifiable sources of the heating are a bigger contributor. As for the extent, those are definitely worst case... Any semi-realistic prediction says that the chances of each of those things should be reduced by about 2/3. The most likely doomsday scenario is that the heat will increase just enough to trigger the release of the methane deposits at the bottom of the ocean. If this happens, everyone and everything on the surface of the planet will suffocate in a matter of hours. (unless you're above ~7500 feet ASL, IIRC) It will also result in basically the entire rest of the planet being engulfed in flames for several weeks/months, and destroying basically everything in a planet-wide methane fireball. Note, this is the most likely doomsday scenario, and it has a less than 15% chance of happening when given a generous helping of "worst case". We really need to get off this planet, and not mess up other planets when we get there.

It's not that you can't play those games, it's that they are no longer for sale. They have Grid 2 "delisted", but it is still available if you have already purchased it.
