Isn't there an episode where Freeman mentions Tupac? I know he mentioned that he had dreams where he was Snoop Dogg, but I seem to recall him mentioning Tupac as well.

I actually stumbled across it when I saw some Civil Protection videos that wasn't on Machinima a looong time ago. Chiledsanity's youtube channel I think it was called. Followed some of his stuff, I am not entirely sure when I watched Freeman's mind though.

I don't know....Anyway, there are some videos that have tags of everything. Maybe the 2Pac song had tags of Snoop Dogg too.

I actually searched for Half-Life videos on YouTube while I was watching "Half-Life in 60 seconds" which is funny as hell. Then I stumbled across Freeman's Mind since it came up in the same search. And since then I was hooked.

 

 

That's creepy. That's how I got hooked too. I went on Gamespot and saw the video. It was a long time ago, so I looked it up on Youtube. Watched THAT a couple times, then I saw what you saw.

Not creepy at all... I got to know FM the same way... Many people did.

We were lucky because with new Google search engine (I presume?) we do not get the same results nowadays on Youtube and I'm sure I wouldn't get to know FM so easy like this month...

I'm kinda concerned if it's harder to find Freeman's Mind lately, I mean stumble upon it watching 'HL in 60 Secs' or whatever video that was connected with it at least half a year ago or so

I saw it on youtube back when I was playing Half-Life for the first time. I was probably looking up how to get past a certain part or something when I came across it. I've been watching it ever since.

I was on my Steam Account "FPSNations" and chatting to my friend "2 Legit 2 Quit" I only saw FM on YT once... but never really understood it, I mean I played the Half-Life games and VALVE games.... so then my friend told me "YO WATCH FM E1!" I then was

Same here. I actually saw an ad for portal and thought I'd try it so I got the demo and decided I wanted to buy it. It was part of the orange box and all the HL2 games. AFter playing portal I played HL2. I had never played HL so I played them in the wrong order. I bought HL on steam and when I finished it was searching videos on Half LIfe stuff and ran across 'half life in 60 seconds'. Finally I ran across freeman's mind which was probably around episode 20-something at the time. I've been checking in with accursed farms ever since!!

 

Now i'm enthralled with skyrim waiting for more FM and HL3 to someday make a showing.

I actually was a Huge fan of Civil Protection and Ross years ago back when he was first starting before Freeman's Mind, So ya I just found it from Civil Protection. And to this I believe Civil Protection and Freeman's Mind are more well done than alot of material on Machinima.

I was actually looking at a Half Life 2 achievement guide for "Two Points", and the guy who made the video was trying to narrate Freeman's thoughts while he tried for the achievement. And then some dude in the comments was like "DEWD RAWSS SCAWT WITH FREEMUNZ MIND IS WAYYY BETTUR"; so I proceeded to look it up to see what it was. Aaaand...I have been hooked ever since.
