Sexuality.

Couldnt had said it better myself.

What I find REALLY strange is the whole pride parade thing. Why do we have this?

From what Ive gathered, it causes more hate than love.

I fully agree with you, Doublenature. I saw a full of perhaps 2 minutes of the pride parade in Stockholm a few years ago, the reason for that being that it was all I could take before I ran for peace in the Old Town. The noise of some outright screaming people in the parade and the (to me) terrible too loud music, half dressed people in sexual fetish clothing frightened and annoyed me.

I'd also like to make a point of the fact that plain nakedness in it self is very acceptable and ordinary to swedes like me, it was that the few scraps of cloth/leather that covered the body accentuated the sexual aspects of the human body to quite a degree as well as being obvious fetish wear.

The reason I saw it was that as I was on my way to the Old Town I was looking for a way to safely cross the street in Slussen without being in danger of getting driven over by the parade, haha.

Then much later I went on the buss to go home when, of course, two really foul smelling women paraders came on as well, standing right next to me in the cramped buss. I think it was the gold spray they'd sprayed all over their skin. YUCK! :?

And that was my frst and only experience with the pride festival as a young Stockholmska. Haha :D

To enter a relationship by having what is known as civil marriage, that is done by signing papers in attendance of a government official, is to me what is truly beautiful and really shows partnership and strong love between two people - whilst still keeping to the damned point!

I don't see any particular beauty in either ceremony. To me, a true loving relationship is not dependent on any third party's confirmation or verification. Equally, I do not accept that any third party should have the ability to keep two unwilling partners tied to each other if they are not suitable for each other.

Having said that, there are many practical reasons why legal recognition of the union is useful in our world and I prefer the civil bureaucratic way (which stresses the point that it is just a legal procedure) to any religious ceremony.

Regards

Indeed, but the latter one I mentioned at least warms my heart and makes me daydream of it. :D

We can never see ourselves as others see us. Even the mirror shows us in reverse.

.

.

If there was any logic in this world, it would be men who ride side-saddle, not women.

Just going to say, I'm confused as to why you find signing papers in a courthouse much more romantic and loving than an actual wedding.

Anyway, I'm not going to say anything about my actual opinion on this whole topic in general, because I've seen it demonstrated so far that people around here are really unaccepting of my particular view. You all need to lighten up.

I am strait and I am good with all of it! all except for the guy I had stalking me for 3 years... but I dident let one weirdo make me think all other sexualitys are strange. they are just people who need the love and I dont give a damn where the love comes from as long as everyone has some. only problematic sexual behaviors I see are the predatory ones, manipulative ones and incest.

What your not crazy too?

Define pls. I must know more. What?

Well... I was allways finding myself as a "stalker" that doesn't shows his feelings (I'm actually bad at showing them except the anger or sadness) to people that I actually like alot. Um. I just keep watching or observing their behaviour. I know... I just like to watch. And this sometimes gives me enough happines. However I doubt if I could fall in love with anyone in my area. My friends already have girlfriends (more or less attractive) and I don't feel like I need anyone. If you can be asexual for no reason (I mean... I didn't had any traumatic childhood or anything that would caused that) then I think... Uh I really don't know what should I think about it.

I migh be asexual but I don't really care about it.

Your sexuality, your problem, I don't care. Do what you want. Some things may be romantic, some may be desgusting... I DON'T CARE!

And of course I think girls SHOULD be with boys and vice versa, gay ppl are not "good" thing, but that's only my opinion... I'm not interested in ANYONE no longer.

The guy was constantly harassing me, messaging me and sending texts (god knows how he got my number) so perhaps it was more that then stalking... and I also observe those around me and don't get involved much at all. Unless I forget to take my crazy pills I probably say less than 20 words in a day. well... except on the internet. (hmm internet is good for people with social anxiety like me... I will use that in my research paper.)

What your not crazy too?

Ive never seen it in person but I can understand your reaction.

Fetish clothing when you are trying to kill the stereotype? Way to go! :D

Ive not been to Stockholm alot in my life, but Im aware of the fact that it is alot bigger than Östersund. About how big is the street that they shut down for this ? Does it cause alot (even more) traffic holdups ?

Sounds like your first experience was not that great :)

(Also, sorry for the late answer, hadnt really checked the thread in some time)

As I began reading your post, for a second I thought you'll be confessing to be a 3-headed martian omni-sex being, stranded on Earth and forced to copulate with trees in the meantime...

So the actual thing was pretty anticlimactic, when I reached it. How disappointing :-)

Sorry if I came across as insensitive. Was not my intention - just wanted to cheer you up a bit.

The main thing is you are who you are. People who matter won't care how you arrived there. As long as you do like and respect yourself there will be people who would like and respect you, just do not let the funk to set in...

It's ok man, I also noticed it's a sexuality thread, not "gender" thread. What's different in my opinion. And In that case I will stay 1000% asexual, and I don't mind gays , bi or straight people it's their's life. It's none of my bussiness and Im just neutral, as long as no one is threating me, I'm fine with anything really.

I think making a big affair of any kind of straight, homo or bi sexuality is a waste of time. We're all imprinted with sex in our brains and that's the biggest thing. If we treated it as a part of life, like eating, the world would be a much nicer place to be.

Sad how we can't explain this to assholes like Fred Phelps.

What I mean is I find so many things sexually attractive that I've stopped trying to put a label on it

Hmm, why?

social anxiety? I don't have it. I'm just usually quiet becasue I know how ppl like talking abbout bullshit. I don't speak until I have something to say.

I remember once finding a Niki Lauda quote randomly (a very serious Formula 1 racer) who talked about his competitor always drinking and

socialising with his coworkers between races. Lauda thought it better not to make a fool of yourself, and instead impose a sense of fear

among the men so they would respect you at all times. He also referred to it as not wanting to go "bullshitting with all these assholes."

I'm not saying he had the best approach, but I found his Austrian accent and the way he spoke about it quite funny.
