  1. No Man's Sky It's significantly better now than back when it launched. The Expeditions update made it a game with an actual goal now.
  2. That's because gambling in general is addictive. It's very nature is such that it will drive you so low in despair and expectation that the "high" from winning exceeds that of many extremely addictive drugs. You get addicted to it very easily.
  3. This is the correct interpretation. I've talked about and even promoted piracy before, and gotten direct statements from the mods saying it's not against the rules.
  4. That would be a bit disappointing, but not too bad.
  5. Nice. I hadn't heard about this, and the MT-32 is amazing in Silpheed, so I'm going to start using this for my DOS emulation too.
  6. I agree, but free to play games that have stuff in those "lootboxes" that are completely within the means of obtaining without any money spent, and don't require obscene amounts of gameplay to obtain, are an exception I'm willing to make.
  7. He wouldn't need a new currency, but traditionally independent countries use their own currency, and USD would trade differently in the new country.
  8. And kitchen from the looks of it...
  9. No.

  11. Testing out my new Soundcore Q30's with the album. Quite good.
  12. I must point out a spelling error... It's a "Let's Play" not "Let Play".
  13. Valheim was enough to get me back in touch with a friend from back when I was in Job Corps... (I pronounce it "job corpse" for a good reason) Bought him a copy, now I'm also doing a few other games with him, and even a D&D campaign soon. I co-GMed with him for a Shadowrun group in J.C. so he knows I know how it works, which takes a load off his shoulders as a DM. (I will make him regret it though, as I can do some "fun" stuff well within the rules)
  14. No Man's Sky Not too bad, but it keeps either starting me on a hell planet, or crashing before a save. I've taken to using a trainer to survive long enough to get off-planet in singleplayer games now.
  15. Colorado here... I've seen several that are still fully functioning from the mid-70's, despite not being very good quality constructions.
  16. They're also the only two states that could actually survive outside of the Union. California can't legally secede, but Texas can.
  17. Nocuz.
  18. Yeah, well, I have this!

  20. I no.
  21. Valheim. Making a paved road to connect all our bases across multiple islands, including a few bridges. I've made it 1/3rd of the way from the rest of our bases to the trader portal "base", and I've already crossed 2 islands. I have one more major waterway to cross, but I'm planning on doing that high enough up that it won't interfere with boats. (that passage cuts 15+ min off boat trips because the islands are so big)
  22. You're all so far behind on the posting... Experience will win out.
  23. Motion tabled.
  24. You sure?
