I saw the new fantastic 4 movie.

Y'know, I love it when teleportation and inter-dimensional travel is used in fiction. I really do. But this... this was just unacceptable.

I see everything.

The Hateful Eight 7/10

I enjoyed it alot, it was different, sort of like a theater play (like many reviewers have said) but it really worked.

The Revenant, watched not-entirely-legally.

Pretty grim. But very well done. Tom Hardy was top notch. Wee Leo on top form too. Dunno if it'll get him an Oscar though. The amount his character goes through, he should have died very quickly, which started making things rather funny as I'm sure winter in South Dakota is pretty harsh.

Despite Rasputin levels of endurance, well worth watching. 8/10

Death Race 2000 (1975)

I was a bit disappointed, but I guess that's because I was expecting Carmageddon-style bloog and gore and explosions everywhere from a 1975 movie. I did get to see some boobs though!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 9/10

Well, this is a long time coming, but better late than never. Most of my doubts about the movie were gone before I reached the credits. The story was engaging enough for me, speaking as a recent fan. The ending itself got me excited for Episode VIII.

Welp, now what?

Crank

9.47852 / 10.0000135

If I needed to ingest cocaine, burn my hand in a toaster, stand up on a moving motorcycle and have sex in public in order to keep my heart from stopping... I think would.

I see everything.

Lone Survivor. I'll give it a solid 8/10.

He still humped an old lady to keep his heart going via the pace maker, speaking of pacemakers, I was playing Splinter Cell Double Agent on the gamecube

and I killed Jamie Washington with my OCP because he has a pacemaker

but yeah I thought that film was good, both were really

OT: Shoot EM Up 8/10

Makes me wish Clive Owen was chosen to be Bond instead of Craig, dont get me wrong, Daniel Craig has done very well but in this one he kind of is like a very brutal version of James Bond meets Magyver

The Boy - 8/10

I was pleasantly surprised with this one, it was full of cliches and jumpscares left and right, but the horror film sins are easy enough to see past. The twist at the end was fucking glorious.

The Revenant

9/10 Very tiny problems I noticed but not enough to detract from how good it was. Hard to watch at times though. More blood than the F.E.A.R. franchise and that's only a slight exaggeration.

I just saw Deadpool as well. It gets 8/10 for me. I had to dock it two points because:

I felt the "torture" sequence where Wade is turned into Deadpool went on for far too long. This was supposed to be an action comedy, not torture-porn. To me, it felt extraordinarily jarringly out of place.

Beyond that, though, superb movie in almost every way!

Can I rate Deadpool before I see it? I predict a 9/10 or better. (going tomorrow to see it with my brother)

Well, i saw it yesterday and i give it 8.

I might update to a 9 when i've watched it in english. I didn't feel like taking a trip to a cinema that would show it in english.

I feel some of the humor might have been lost in translation.

Siegreiche Schlacht, du blutschöne Maid!

Küss mich zum Ruhm, sei mein Geleit!

Siegreiche Schlacht, du blutgeiles Biest!

Der Tod ist dein Meister aus Stahl!
