I used to love World of Warcraft, but since they changed the skill system in it, it really tanked the fun of the game for a lot of the older players. (me included) Don't even get me started on the crappy expansions released after Burning Crusade.

Star Trek Online... More hours put into it than any other game, excluding World of Warcraft. (and that will be surpassed in under 250 hours)

The one I saw just increased their follow radius to ~30ft... (IIRC) It had options for how far you wanted them to follow too. I still don't know if it's still up though.

Interesting that it's getting a dynamic IP that changes so rapidly, and only on one computer... Sounds an awful lot like a redirect system commonly found in certain types of malware.

You can set yourself to be offline for the social system, but not offline in the client itself... I think that was what was meant. Just click on the 'Friends' menu at the top of the client window, and select offline. (it leaves the client online so you can still play online games while not having a social life)

There's a mod for that... Don't know if it's still available though. (haven't checked or played in over a month)

I overclock GPUs when I can, because more FPS. That is really the only usage scenario I would consider overclocking for. (any other scenario and you're risking system stability and even complete hardware death for a negligible time savings on things that don't need it) I would say yes. It wouldn't be justified upgrading from one to the other, but as an initial purchase, it is worth it. 1/7 performance boost, 1/7.5 price increase. When it comes to AMD CPU speeds, 1GHz is equivalent to 0.8GHz on an Intel. (4.0GHz AMD = 3.4GHz Intel) This is a fairly accurate aproximation, and has been this way since the introduction of the Core series of Intel processors.

Because, for some reason my computer hardware has about 2000% better audio output quality if it's at 48K or better in the file. Also, I can hear the difference between 44.1k and 48k on sound systems that don't have this bizarre issue. (like my phone) 44.1k to 48k doesn't really change much in the way of the audio, or the file size, just makes it a LOT clearer sounding when listening on my computer. (bit depth doesn't really matter much though, as my system converts it to 32-bit float on the fly without issue)

Indeed. That's why I would have an AI interpret them into the code, giving a much clearer and comprehensive set of rules for the AI to follow. (as I said, this would be perfect for an AI to do, as it can even figure out how the next AI can try to get around them, and block it)
